Say what you will, but Daryle has a voice that just touches you deep down in your soul when you here the depth of his amazing voice. Just wish there were more traditional country singers today, don't know what the hell has happened to country music, but thank goodness for artists like this. In my opinion this man is already a walking legend, i enjoy all classic country and this mans voice reminds me so much of Keith Whitley its astonishing.

daryle singletary needs to be in the country music hall of fame. one of the truly greatest voices of all time. i have all of daryle's cds and every one is the best i ever heard. don't get me wrong george,waylon,merle, conway,willie, and vern are great but daryle is right up there with them. its the new bullshit country that ain't country at all thats ruined it for me. keith urban, taylor swift, and lady antebellum are good singers i guess in their own right but they are not tradional country.

This CD will be in stores in April 09'. The biggest shame is that the best song that WAS on this CD before his label went bankrupt was Thats Why God made Me that Shannon Walker regrettably did instead... I have Daryles Version of that song still if anyone is interested. I kept it since we'll probably never hear him sing it again :(

I remember Waylon/Willie etc saying that they couldn't get air time for new releases because they weren't considered 'cool' anymore. So your cousin may listen, as I do., or play at concerts the old stuff, but it won't get played on the radio.
