  • wow you learn some thing new every day, next dry wall job I do ill give this a try.

  • I just found this product in the U.K. it is tapeless and never cracks.

  • @CBrownSays dumb

  • thats great, im using the one you have to wet at the moment, its good, but one you don't have to wet would be much better, that one looks tougher than standard paper tape too.

you wonder how many hours of your life you waste before you discover things like this !!! ha

  • i had a roll of this stuff, and it didnt stick to well..

  • I used it once and I didnt like it.. it doesnt make things easier.. Nothing beats the paper tape or fast tape.

  • what about butt joints?

  • that guy is a great actor!!!!!

  • lol, butcher

Drywall, mmm we call it Gyprock in Aust sounds more sexy,

    jk-nice video mate!

  • The human eye can spot more imperfections looking up and down in a short time compared to looking sideways. Look at any wall job, plaster or wallpaper and youll see what I mean. Why anyone would hang drywall vertically instead of horizontal is beyond me.

  • You know i have always wondered the same thing. Hanging the drywall horizontally ties more or the studs together, strenthening the wall and it reduces the linear footage that has to be taped and finished. But for some reason on every single commercial job ive finished, the boards are always vertical

  • Wow.I'd have to try it but...I hardly doubt this is any good. The only good "semi-new" tape that's great is Ultraflex. Just put on your tape reels you lazy drywallers! Haha.

  • i do it just as fast when i use mesh tape. people are 2 afraid to put mud on in the first coat come on its gonna shrink in the middle anyway

  • In New zealand we'd call this guy a Cowboy...."getaway with it" .." cut a few steps out" lol yeeeeehaw!!

  • doesn't work, too expensive. just use fiberglass mesh. this is a gimick. it just stretches and causes compound to crack. stick to adhesive Pronto!

  • I've used this tape and it really does save a lot of time and work.

  • yeah what a laugh, tried to over sell it.

  • it very good i used it myself

  • nothing beats Skrim DAVE! never have sand plaster anyway!!! What ARE you talking about!

Don't have to clean your tools!!!! what a laugh!!

  • Sa bande n'est vraiment pas bien chargée

  • Horizontally only in residential. Every commercial job I ever been on is hung vertically

  • When it seems too good to be true, it usually is. I really can't see that joint looking good with only two coats on.

Also, that is not the way to hang drywall, my friend. Not professional. Drywall is hung horizontally, because the way you have hung it, they eye will see the taped joint more easily than if they were horizontally hung. I would stick to the good old fashion way of doing it, with regular tape and three coats.

  • True, but if stopped up proffesionally tapered joints shouldn't show up even with harsh light shining across them...the problem, is that all you Americans use those silly machines with sloppy airdried compounds that shrink!

  • man that is awsome, i have got to get in on this!!

  • looks like great stuff any other feedback?
