Thank you Obama for tearing down liberty and for bringing socialism to America. You and your Moron Zombie Squad were very successful. Good jobs for a bunch of fools.
omg this makes me feel good, i did this teens obama program thing and we called ppl to ask questions about their political views and asked if they needed car pools to the polls. Not gonna lie it was kinda scary calling ppl i didnt kno (some of the people were rude) but it was all worth it!! :D
the funny thing is that in the play, when the revolution does come, everybody dies. well... almost everyone, there's one guy who lives but he's got massive survivor guilt. (empty chairs at empty tables)
What the does "slaves being free" have to do with Obama winning the Presidential election? In case you morons forgot, Lincoln freed slaves over 100 years ago.
Les Miserables is about the 1830 July Revolution in France. The slavery they sing about is a metaphor for the poor and hungry who were repressed and jailed by the reinstalled Bourbon Dynasty's ruling elite. Please do a quick history fact check before making ignorant statements on a public forum.
Yes!!! Thank you campaign members, we couldn't have done it without you!! And I'd also like to thank the guys who came up this and your other vid, they combine Les Mis and Obama, how'd either of you do it?
You know, tonight has been filled with Election Day blues and panicking and worrying. This video, along with the other, have made my night so much better. Thank you all so much.
You are welcome! You are welcome! It has been our HONOR to "fight for" Barack! Thank YOU for giving us these inspirational videos.. it puts all our emotions into shape and form and sound through your art!
Such a strong emotional feeling comes through - what a hopeful message - that we will all take part and stand up for what is right - led by a man of high integrity and intelligence.
Great videos! Great use of music, it provides motivation to go the extra mile the last two days. I cannot believe Election Day 2008 is one day away! Good luck everyone and thanks again to Ultimate Improv for the videos.
Thank YOU, Ultimate Improv, from an actor-director-sound designer in Minnesota. After seeing your first video (One Day More), I'm, delighted you made a sequel. You've done your part in bringing about (please God) a better day for America.
Delightful, "tongue-in-cheek", but ever so true, too. A wonderful way to make us behind the barricades people feel connected, as Barack (I know this is not is stuff) always makes us feel. It's never too late for re-invention.
TAC version? Maybe. Michael Maguire was a little past his prime by then and his upper range was iffy (it really shows in "Red and Black"). Maybe the Improv guys picked the London version because there was so little vocal difference between David Burt (Enjolras) and Gary Huddlestone (Feuilly, who actually sings "Will you give all that you can give", etc). That meant they didn't have to put another actor in center focus.
I agree... I guess they used Michael Maguire to have AN American play a role in the concert... for this the CSR would have been the best option, IMO, for this tune because of Anthony Warlow.
I think some of you miss the point. This isn't intended as entertainment, so much as a representation of the motivation and commitment of millions of people who have driven this campaign. I love both videos, hope to see more!
I'm curious if all the people in this video are members of the Ultimate Improv Group. I guess that question also applies to the Les Misbarack video too.
Thanks, though I see now that all I had to do was check the group's web site and see all the familiar faces but if I had done that then you wouldn't have had to waste your time answering my question. Um...you're welcome?
First vid much more entertaining...this one is kind of a downer. Loved "Les Misbarack" clip. Someone should send Les Misbarack to CNN, Wolf Blitzer, etc...they may want to have some fun with it election-eve!

And after a long hard day watch "Barack Obama Economic Disaster Report Acorn" (posted Oct. 5th in 5 parts). It's a professional, historical and factual report on the mortgage banking crisis without all the drama (or singing) seen on CNN, NBC, ABC etc. And when all the democratic smoke screens disappear and clear picture of the culpable takes shape, tell the middle class why they should be angry and with whom. The video I mentioned should be e-mailed for everyone to see.
You guys should do this sort of thing again for the next election!
