Hey dude, I bet whenever you were in high school horned record players were the main source of music. If you have a horned record player from your childhood then that would make for another great vintage video. I bet during your days of high school there were even horned record players blasting the music in a gynasium, etc. for the school prom. I just thought I would throw out an idea for a vintage video.
Awesome Duane! Now I regret not getting the one with the older spiral rear grille. lol Now that I know that a McGraw-Edison model exists, that one's on the top of my want list.
Well I'm glad to finally see a video of it. That green color looks nice. I'm glad you finally now have it after you've been searching for one like forever. It may not be as powerful as an Emerson or something like that but it sure does blow new trash away! I hope you like that AJ (Dino Boy) impression that I snuck in there. (I just did that for a laugh.) LOL
These fans are indeed great! I had two of them and sold one, still have the other. I believe the plastic on these fans is supposed to be slightly yellowed as all of the ones I had were yellow.
gee! after watching your video! you have got me sold! im definently keeping my eyes open for one! so far my favorite bedroom fan i own is my 10" eskimo with the transparent blueblades. its a very quite running fan.
I like your Green Sanyo/Sears. Duane , I hope I find the Sanyo Dynamic Wide model in Australia. I do not have any transparent green blade fans in my collection yet. It is good to to see another video on Youtube of these green blade fans again. It looked like a bit of plastic was missing on the centre badge of your Sanyo/Sears. I gave your video five stars & favorited it.
Yes, this fan is missing a bit of plastic on the center medallion. The badge is still mostly intact though, and it seems to not be weakened. That's the perils of having a fan that is over 30 years old and it just means this fan has survived some knocks, yet prevailed.
does that fan power out alot of air or kind of weak?, it has lots of noise damping oil where the osilling knob is :D

@crystalscan2002 - It's pretty powerful actually, especially given how quiet it is.

Its plastic, but its one of those rare plastic fans that is actually comparable to older fans.
