  • Would like to see a small writeup on the setup you used to do this. 210 drawings for 14 sec is 15 fps, so you basically drew every other frame of a 30 fps clip. I really like this. I did something similar (See MajorKeyframage channel "Snatch FrameForge Animation").

Although mine was more "mental rotoscoping" - noting each small movement then trying to match the movement in my characters on another screen - rather than tracing. Again, yours is very cool. Hope to see more.

  • if you could make the whole like this i would buy you a harem of women, all and any of your choosing. XD

  • 210 pieces of paper....whoever hated this is an extreme tree lover.

  • How can you dislike this?

  • Outstanding work.

  • My animation clip : Martin's Industry - ZOOM

    HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

  • Wow, this is actually impressive.

  • 0 people..... do talk about Fight Club

  • Yah sorry to bug you but i think theres a lot of interest whenever someone see's hand drawn roto as to how they went over the drawings. Did you use a top down projector setup?

  • tracing?

  • k...now make the whole movie

  • YES!

  • That little bit that you just saw took a very long time. Awesome job. I'm studying rotoscoping now. Even when converting every frame into sketch using photoshop, putting it back to flash is so tedious. That was clean and had a smooth run. I guess you used every frame?

Another shortcut would be using flash to convert the images but not sure if it would be as smooth as this.

    Nice job!

  • This is great! How did you manage to match the drawings with the movie frames so precisely?

  • @TheStevecreations Amazing work!

If it is on paper, how did you rotoscoped it? Do you placed the paper sheets over a screen?

  • @TheStevecreations hey im new to rotoscope and i would really love to know how to do rotoscope on pencil and paper . You could just direct me to a good article explaining how to do it on "PENCIL AND PAPER" as i couldn't find any. Thanks and btw this video is awesomeness personified!!
