Some hooks just sooo random. Play for Pudge and watch the champs with him. You'll see that random hooks into the fog of war in 95% cases is a miss.

@braun3812 If you practise enough DotA you will learn the common ways of thinking in normal public games. People don't think very differently when it comes to running away, stress is another factor that blocks your mind of thinking of different ways to juke. At low level gameplay, this is not hard at all; you just need practise.
