  • Tai chi have many forms and styls. Some may not look incredible but deadly as well. Real martial art is not look as good as one can see in TV. Good techniques come with a bad form and people hardly like it when they see it. I been practice for more than 20 years now and I use to be very flexible and can do many things like youner people do but these days...I am totally different person with deadly touch but people may think I am not a good one. The older they are the better they they become

  • Thank you!

  • dad?

  • Nice

  • Yang 24 or the Chinese government model Tai Chi, everyone does it in China and its very rare to see someone do it right. This "master" is no master too many very basic mistakes, a long list indeed

  • @chentaichiacademy your comment is lame. are you really a certified tai chi master and expert on many styles? no right? are you Chinese? who are you to judge the Chinese, many of whom have been practicing this since the age of five or so. i admit his form doesn't look perfect, but he probably has 40 years or more of tai chi practice. try doing push hands with him. bet he throws you around. the Chinese pratice for their health, not to look good for self righteous tourists like you.

  • Remember I was here.Thai

  • the knee gets "over" the foot, this is a big mistake in taichi.

  • You are totally right. His execution is really bad on various aspects. There is no connection with the center, the most of the time he doesn't move his hips correctly, the Chi doesn't flow up and down - as a consequence, he loses momentum. The movements are too "external", ... (the list could be much longer than this)

  • @waldronZ nobodys perfect

  • @waldronZ wow you must be a tai chi master. you know everything about it eh? some of those old Chinese know more than you ever will and you judge them?

  • Excellent

  • Yes the Beethoven was a surprise to me at first; I thought it was coming from some other video never suspecting it would be coming from a tai chi video from Kunming.

I wonder where he learned the form; it is clearly a family version of the yang form. Does he do applications and push hands; do you practice with him?

  • its designed to strengthen ones inner power for combat, originally, a bajillion years ago or somthing

  • I don't see the stiffness that was mentioned...

  • Shows how much you know about MArtial arts. Why talk about it if you have no knowledge on it at all? Go read up on Tai chi and report back in you fool.

  • @flute1234, your comment was really constructive, congratulations: You have won the star prize!!! Now everyone can see that you know more than the person you rebuked. Feels great doesn't it ;)

    Verdict:: Pot-Kettle

  • Well performed Yang style Tai Chi. Well done....

  • I enjoy the way of his taichi. Very controled, very athletic. I believe that he has some individual anatomic conditions (maybe after an accident or so..) that result in little postural problems.the consequence is stiffness. anyway ... he does a propper work.

  • nice music

  • Mortal Kombat - kenshi

  • his tai chi isnt that good. Forearms seem tense, and not conneted upper with lower at times.

  • actually, his form is very good.

  • great performace, great music.

  • @ashidaKlow: do you know what's martial arts

  • This master is great, thanks. Would love to see him do the long form.

  • look good but not practical cos the kneel bend too much over the toe finally the kneel will get hurt. and also that is not real tai chi but tai chi exercise only.

  • This is real tai chi. Yang style. Its what I practice. This is the 24 posture set.

  • It's okay for advanced students to have the knee over the toe, but not beginners. Maybe he does go a little too far, but for him I think it's okay.

  • ryan - after 45 years, do you think maybe he has learned something that perhaps you don't understand?

  • no comment .anyway it is important to get your qi flow through your whole body ,what i mean is you really can control the qi when you pratise each movement in the form. age dose't matter cos if you really can find good master who is willing to teach , one to three years is more than enough to understand what the taiji all about .

  • he is a tai chi master! wow... amazing!!!

  • Simply amazing... thanks for this

  • Nice dancing
