its not a substitute for a proper fish eye lens, however those lenses are not cheap, and unless your going to use them often (IE: if your a skate/bmx photographer) then this is a fun substitution. the end result is not far off what you might get from a fish eye lens either.

anyway i always appreciate people trying to help others when it comes to PS, so well done.

you have to unlock your background layer "main layer" by naming it, and then you''ll be able to crop.

Just a suggestion: After you have the image as you want it, you can flatten it, then use your square selection tool to draw a box around the image as you want it cropped. Go back to "Image" and Crop will appear.

oh and by the way if you look on the tool bar on the left side of the screen, there is a crop icon in the right row.
