Your computer has a mic in port? if so, radio shack has a small adapter that allows you to plug your guitar straight into your computer. it would get rid of all the tinny crap and let us actually hear the song. Or if you're running through a pedal/amp, you can do the same thing. use your standard 1/4" cable and pick up the 1/4->1/8" adapter for 2-3 bucks.
