The 10-60mph which is displayed at 10sec mark takes 6.5 seconds on my stopwatch. is APR Stg 2 is slower than stock :) Or this just bad driver?

Quick question to all those that have done the chipping:

Stage 1 = No CEL ... DP, throws a CEL which can be cleared with APR's Stage 2 right? So...If I go Stage 2 (which needs the DP)...it'll give me the CEL again if I have to flash back to Stock (taking it in to the dealership, etc. etc.) ????

Can it be cleared with the vagcom? Thanks for any replies.

dude if you want to get technical it is 2 manual clutches inside a gearbox that is electronically controlled...

there is nofluid that gets routed through channels like an automatic..

no u dont have a clue what ur talking about. although i personally enjoy a traditional manual trans just because thts what i always drive the dsg is fuckin sick. it reduces shift time to .8 seconds. do tht with a stick shift mah boi and then u will realize how sick the dsg is

It's amazing how not too long ago the average manual tranny car was about a half a second quicker than the average auto tranny. Now the manual is the slower one in alot of cases... Like this one. That shows you how amazing this tranny really is performance wise. Very nice!

I know its DSG =P Which is a nice tranny. Test drove both it and the manual before I bought mine (got the manual). It was awesome but seemed to video game ish for me with the paddle shifters =P. Comment was about the Electronic Slip Protection (I think) or ESP. When the car shifts you see the little light on the dash with wavy lines indicating the wheels are slipping and the ESP kicking in. If you turn it off you can chirp the wheels (much cooler) =)

what if you went stage 2 (software, APR FP, and an ATP catless dp... this would get pretty loud wouldnt it...

Changing the DP to a catless DP would change the sound of the exhaust, by how much I don't know. APR's DP for this system runs a 200 cell metal cat.
