i dont understand how people are able to so easily dismiss evolution because they just cant imagine something as insignificant as a single-celled organism changing over the course of millions of years into much more complex creature. i dont understand why they dismiss it because they all KNOW that every last one of us was once a single-celled organism (sperm cell). a person of average intelligence should take one look at the birth process and immediately consider evolution to be credible.

I'm a Christian but I'm open to the evolution theory. I don't treat the Genesis chapter as
something to be taken literally.I believe God started the "big bang" and let it go through its
processes. God is timeless so it doesn't matter how long the creation took to formed complex beings.
