I sometimes wonder at the frequency with which people report bathrooms to be haunted, It seems to me maybe it could be either something to do with water or it might just be that when we are alone obviously there is nobody there to distract us and awareness might come as part of this. I cant see any reason why a spirit would confine its activity to such a place and think that probably its the space and the whole building but that it just gets more noticeable as people are alone in there.
did you ever explore the monroe cemetery if so did you investigate it at night ..if not go on halloween and see if you can get any of the spirits on video ...it would be interesting especially if it was a live show like they do on ghost hunters or the ghost adventures

That is great you get along with your spirits. Our spirits at this house did go eventually, and knew there wasn't a choice because it was they making it so peace couldn't be achieved. Hello and thank you for commenting. The spirits in this home were not behaving - this is why they were asked to leave. We take each case as it comes. You're right, some spirits just leave you alone and go about their business.
Thank you for commenting! It is possible the spirit used a sound (even the push sound) to modulate- I thought the same thing about the Joseph evp, and still entertain the possibility. However, it really does sound like Testing to me. EVPs can be so mind bogging. I'm working with someone who is identifying evps through spectral imaging- I am testing this as she's teaching me. Won't it be nice if the day comes soon that we can identify evps this way! We need this break through!

play it at like 9:17- theres a rising noise that sounds like a ringing sound and then it dies... and then at 9:18-9:19 you can hear what sounds like someone saying something behind your voice while your talking. just a one word mutter........ it creeped me out...... well you might have missed that.
My first suggestion would be to contact the police and get as much of the potential criminal history of the house as possible. Second, contact your county auditor or visit their web site and find out as many owners as you can. This will help you when you record evps if you do. Have you tried to find out WHO is haunting the house?
Brandi, at the very start of your test, after you put new batteries in the recorder, the EVP that was caught at the start that says "testing"... I don't hear that at all. I hear "Trust me."
then rule all out to see what it can be..if a outlet gives ya high emf readings then it cant be explained as paranormal.. if there is nothing there, like wall outlets or even power then when the emf meter goes nuts it can be paranormal..
that so called joshep or testing voice before ya say testing. sounds to me like the click of the button of that tape recorder..ya can see a wall outlet near the bottom of the wall, where it shows the emf meter going off..then ya test it on the other wall, so heck yeah..there is a large emf reading near the wall outlets..and when ya walk away..they go less..Im sorry but i have seen enough that this aint a real investigation..ya should look for all possible things

Odors are something. Some spirits smell like their favorite perfumes, others stink. Maybe it depends on their character. The past owner was a fisherman who committed suicide. Maybe, that is why the fish smells rotten. He probably has issues to work through.

Well don't me spook you in any way or form, I have had my experiences both good and bad with many different spirits, and in some cases where i have been pulled on or touched in some manner or form, In most of my cases i have seen the temperature drop very very quickly and usually right before something happens.
The First EVP Sounded like possibly Hello, rather than the name that you first threw out there. I wouldn't like standing in that bathroom either if i were you, Not much an exit since your cameraman is in the way if something would go down, Ive had spirits pull on my shirt or touch my back before, just be careful when your on site, especially spirits that have a negative energy. I have never noticed but do you use cassette recorders all the time or do you use digital ones as well?. I always use digital but I was thinking about trying a cassette recorder. I was wondering if there was an advantage to using tapes over digital? when recording E.V.P.
Yes, so far, I've always used a cassette recorder. I've heard many theories, but I have heard cassette is good because it has no built in ability whatsoever to pick up RF of any kind. I have seen this a lot on videos showing evidence its like a like or energy fluctuation on the camera as the spirit enters the room if you look closely you will see what i mean look closely.
Cool a E.V.P on your first recording. Sounds like Joseph. That was one creepy voice. I can see why there would be activity since someone in the house committed suicide and no dough they are still around. Interesting E.M.F readings you were not near anything electrical. I usually pick up the spiritual energies in every way BUT visibly. I used to see them as a kid but the ability waned until recently. Well since someone committed suicide in the house its no wonder there is activity. Kinda creepy you got a E.V.P when you were testing the recorder. Ghosts seem to like to dwell in basements as I have learned in investigating allot of time just the basements are haunted and no other part of the house is. Good work. Look forward to seeing more

Along the line of smells, I was doing some EVP Friday night after a bath, I sprayed some body splash and then my recorder shut off. I went ahead and played back what little I recorded and there was a male EVP saying "That smells great" - it is posted on my page. So maybe smells go both ways? But good video, I will look for part 2 and 3.
I have to go check that out right now, your evp. That sounds great. And in the unknown world of paranormal, it's quite possible things can go more than one way. funny thing about basements, they always seem to harbor spirits. Great video, very good presentation and buildup. I have a theory about bathrooms, I think so much goes on in there, that some energy is left. Plus, I have heard that spirits use water for energy.

It has been my experience that spirits often leave an odor signature as confirmation.
Ex: Every year, on the anniv. of my grandmothers death, we all smell Lilly of The Valley at some point throughout the day, regardless of where we are. It was her favorite flower.

I agree with you. It was so cool how we smelled that smell and then found out he was a fisherman. Every time we go back we smell it. And check this out, I actually saw him. This is a first for me since childhood, actually seeing the spirit. I hear them, get their messages, etc., but usually don't see them. I've been so excited. The "Joseph/testing" EVP sounds, to me, like just the tape recorder being moved around a little. I don't hear a voice in it.

Well don't me spook you in any way or form, I have had my experiences both good and bad with many different spirits, and in some cases where i have been pulled on or touched in some manner or form, In most of my cases i have seen the temperature drop very very quickly and usually right before something happens.

The First EVP Sounded like possibly Hello, rather than the name that you first threw out there. I wouldn't like standing in that bathroom either if i were you, Not much an exit since your cameraman is in the way if something would go down, Ive had spirits pull on my shirt or touch my back before, just be careful when your on site, especially spirits that have a negative energy. I have never noticed but do you use cassette recorders all the time or do you use digital ones as well?. I always use digital but I was thinking about trying a cassette recorder. I was wondering if there was an advantage to using tapes over digital? when recording E.V.P.

Yes, so far, I've always used a cassette recorder. I've heard many theories, but I have heard cassette is good because it has no built in ability whatsoever to pick up RF of any kind. I have been well. I kinda figured there was a reason why some use cassette over digital. Thats interesting I did not know that. I think I'll start to try cassette. I have heard that E.V.P's are sometimes more clear on tapes then digital I'm not sure. Thanks for the info!.

between 4:44 and 4:50 where you point out the orb.you can actually what seems to be a figure in front of you and then you go on to say about it being a bit full on in front of you?
I have seen this a lot on videos showing evidence its like a like or energy fluctuation on the camera as the spirit enters the room if you look closely you will see what i mean look closely.

Cool a E.V.P on your first recording. Sounds like Joseph. That was one creepy voice. I can see why there would be activity since someone in the house committed suicide and no dough they are still around. Interesting E.M.F readings you were not near anything electrical. I find it interesting that strange smells are connected to paranormal activity. Good video. Be careful in the hood!.

The EVP is very odd, bearing in mind the previous owner was Joseph. As I joined you on the second investigation I can verify that this house is very haunted. We have got some great film in the can on this one too, and that will be up on YouTube soon.

Hey hootie1111, how's life treatin ya? As far as that evp, I'm a bit torn. However, I'm with you, we no doubt heard from Joe. I actually saw HIM during our second visit, which was strange for me. I usually pick up the spiritual energies in every way BUT visibly. I used to see them as a kid but the ability waned until recently. From what I've heard fom others doing this is I'll likely be seeing them again now. Have you? I'm curious about that. Thank you very much for coming by!=)

Finally, someone that understands. For some reaaon, the bathrooms in this house really bug me beyond my usual! I've since learned that "Joe" committed suicide in one of the two. I don't want anyone telling me which, as I want to continue tracking the activity and tuning in. This house, aside from the 2 spirits we've met, has LOADS of negative residual energy. Well since someone committed suicide in the house its no wonder there is activity. Kinda creepy you got a E.V.P when you were testing the recorder. Ghosts seem to like to dwell in basements as I have learned in investigating allot of time just the basements are haunted and no other part of the house is. Good work. Look forward to seeing more

Along the line of smells, I was doing some EVP Friday night after a bath, I sprayed some body splash and then my recorder shut off. I went ahead and played back what little I recorded and there was a male EVP saying "That smells great" - it is posted on my page. So maybe smells go both ways? But good video, I will look for part 2 and 3.

funny thing about basements, they always seem to harbor spirits. Great video, very good presentation and buildup. I have a theory about bathrooms, I think so much goes on in there, that some energy is left. Plus, I have heard that spirits use water for energy.

It has been my experience that spirits often leave an odor signature as confirmation.
Ex: Every year, on the anniv. of my grandmothers death, we all smell Lilly of The Valley at some point throughout the day, regardless of where we are. It was her favorite flower.
I can't wait to see part 2!

very interesting, that fish smell thing. stranger still the owner of the home mentioned that in the note. shows some kind of homage paying to the spirit or something. u usually don't come across notes like that. great editing and evp. I heard Joseph and testing, wtf?

hi there brandi...wanted to respond to your question about smells. i believe very strongly that yes, Spirits can let us know with smells and fragrances. my grandmother wore lavender. we were close and we're in contact often. so prolly right bout the fishy smell. this is great work! lookin forward to part 2! :o)

I agree with you. It was so cool how we smelled that smell and then found out he was a fisherman. Every time we go back we smell it. And check this out, I actually saw him. This is a first for me since childhood, actually seeing the spirit. I hear them, get their messages, etc., but usually don't see them. I've been so excited. I guess I gave a very accurate description of his appearance. The give away I guess was me saying he had on a red flannel shirt. Apparently he always wore one. thank u!
