Racial profiling does NOT work, EL AL (ISRAEL'S) airline does not use such archaic ways and is considered 1 of the best airlines for security. They use other ways such facial diametrics like they use in casino's, Dept of Homeland security is now studying Israel's ways. I am Russian, and so is my wife and kids. I am a minority in the USA, but lets suppose IF tomorrow they'll find out that - statistically - most terrorists are of Russian origin - then I would be the FIRST to step in and request RACIAL profiling of all russians myself including. I will have no problem with that.

Obviously, it's never been done to you or your family, or you would not say that. Have you ever heard of the profoundly evil inhumanities that the U.S. gov't did at Guantánamo & Abu Ghraib? You're wrong. I WAS racially profiled. A cop stopped me for a minor driving violation. (I dont look like a typical Moscovite, rather like central asian type, I speak with thick accent). I had four cops cars around me and guns looking right into my face. Just for turning left on Red. It happened in Oct 2001. And guess what? I understand cops' concern about "cirtain" phenotypes of people.
