  • It definitely isn't the 'Same on the other side' because you tighten it by twisting in the opposite direction for a start.

  • @Biscuitto hi, is it normal that the bb gets tighter by hand and u need the tool to tight it with it ? cause i cant tighten it by hand to the end

  • @BillieJean900

Yes, but make sure not to over tighten. I'll message you the link to another video, which I found more helpful

  • @Biscuitto thnx because the frame is new and the sram x7 is also new so i was wondering

  • @BillieJean900

You need to accept my friends request, until then it won't let me send you any messages dude.

  • are the spacers included with the cranks? Thanks

  • Hi I khnow you obviously had to use 3 spacers to line up chainrings with front mech but on left side crank arm there was hardly any spline sticking out surely that would be deadly?

  • muchos errores se cometen aqui ¿quién es el profecional?

  • A bit of grease on the threads of BB cups never goes a miss.

  • informative video. thanks.

  • whats the name of this song and who is the artist

  • deadwood-dirty pretty things

  • I'm so glad we get to listen to SHIT music rather than some talking about instruction and tips when doing this BB job.

  • wow, thanks for the reply! yes shit music is great to listen to when not learning about how to install a bb, you just kind of look at the screen and go mm hmm.

  • @britney00 lol.. sarcasm... ain't it grand...

  • My non-driveside crank arm didn't come with the little black spacer where the 2 allen bolts get tightened. Is this spacer important?

  • @preludedriven yes mate very important

  • Epic! Good boy!

  • other vids show a lot of grease applying, yours just had a dab, is that because of different bb makes or personal preferance?

  • Your comment is a year old and no one replies to you. Lame!

The dab of grease you notice is just so the crank doesn't seize on the spindle. That's not the grease for the BB (it's sealed and already greased). So if you saw a video with lots of grease applied, it was probably a BB with external bearings. That's my guess.

  • Excellent, added to my bike repair playlist.

  • Clears things up a bit. Thanks!

  • THIS IS THE BOMB

  • Thanks!
