@holec0591 If you go to Insanelymac they'll be glad to help you. But grey screen usually relates to a hang somewhere. Blue screens relate to graphics. Boot via Verbose boot (type -v at Chameleon) and see where it hangs too.

ok first problem below solved is now it will boot from disk but the bit where its the black screen you said replaced the apple screen to make sure it worked keeps coming up with "still trying to acesss" something dnt know what it is but i left it 1/2 hour and it just had about 20 of those. any help would be apreciated thanx

ok i placed the tporrent files from the torrent onto a disk put the disk in but wouldnt load any operating system booted from disk went straight into windows of the dvd drive

I found out WHY it happens, but not the fix. It happens when the installer can't find a primary hard drive. A fix is to manually tell the installer what disk and partition, only problem is I forgot how.

@pucupucubumbum Hey there, the only way of doing that is installing Macintosh onto a USB hard drive or by backing up your pc. You can't physically break your PC by doing this you can always revert back to windows if something happens.
