  • Awesome Job! That fire got hot fast!

  • You should show this to the politicians......Best of Luck

  • WOW Great Grab Guys!!! Quick and Efficient!

  • GOOD job brothers keep up the good work!

  • great work !!

    saludos from chile volunteer firefahiter

  • automatic nozzles or smooth bores in columbus?

  • Excellent work. It concerned me a little to see the guy or two working under the ladders with out helmets at least; full PPE would have been better. Great work otherwise.

  • No arm chair quarterbacking here. Ventilated too early, tangled uncharged line? Who cares. The victim was saved, the fire was put out in timely manner, and no one got hurt. Job well done!!!

    Everyone Goes Home

  • Yea Brother been on a bunch of jobs where a guy didn't see the whole picture and still took action. Its ok as long as we don't get hurt and can sit back and scrutinize ourselves positively. Great video! Keep em coming and stay safe.

  • Excellent work! A saw a well disiplined group of competent professionals just doing business. Maybe just a second early on the first floor ventilation. Beautiful work all in all. It will be added to my training collection.

    Capt. J.C Goins Atlanta Ga

  • Hey Jake, Thanks for watchin. Great comment. The ventilation was a tad early. At first glance the firefighter that ventilated the 1st floor saw the crew with nozzle at the front door. What he did'nt see was it was uncharged and tangled. BTW you can hear some brief radio traffic on my other video "yes on issue 1" Thanks again, Stay safe

  • Kudos to the firefighters who did not take too much ownership of the rescue. True discipline and professionalism is displayed as they remained on the 2nd floor to complete the search

  • I was curious as to why no one was standing behind the person who had the victim as they were walking down the steps?

Nice job and great save non the less. Stay safe boys and girls.

  • ya me too, eventhough im still an explorer, i couldnt see myself doing anything else

  • I was born to be a firefighter!

  • chasefire,

Keep them coming. This is the way we learn. Don't get too upset at legacy. Some people try to find all the bad things in an incident they weren't at. Ever read the editorials about cover photos in Fire Engineering or FireHouse? Same people.

    Proud to know you.

    jack

  • was LADDER 15 on this job?

  • wheeling- No ladders one and two. thanks for watching and commenting

  • great video. nice rescue and good job doing what you do! keep posting videos. setting up your camera doesn't really take that long.

  • Kudos to my Downtown Brothers! Another life saved!

Legacy, take a look at the time from arrival of the Truck to the time the victim was placed on the cot! Less than 2 1/2 minutes. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me!

Not bad for a bunch of hillbilly Ohio Firefighters who respond to only 165,000 runs a year!

Not all of us can keep our shiny red helmet so pretty!

Rook E-17 "Keepers of the Hill"

  • Hey Rook, Thanks for the support. BTW did see your mug on my vid tittled Columbus Fire Ohio. remember the little girl with her leg stuck in her bicycle.

  • Nice

Was this with the New Ladder-1?

  • Cool, I heard about this fire, looked like a good one. Good job with the video

  • Maybe they can show some of these videos at the victims funerals and what a good job they did with the camera work. F-ING JOKE.

  • I don't think you would need to show a video at a victims funeral to prove how much danger we put ourselves to try and save lives. But don't be to hard on yourself for sounding silly, even some really smart people make silly comments sometimes.

  • don't worry about it Tillerman. Sounds like someone's wife was tagged by a FF

  • fire8ra- yeah and they filmed it lol

  • ok tough guy, nice snappy comeback.

  • Are you kidding me with this Tillerman. Why in the hell is he spending so much time getting his camera set-up. These ff anymore are killing me. Would you like your wife/mother/child to be in that house while this asshole is spending a minute getting his camera setup. UNBELIEVEABLE.

  • Legacy- I set the camera down while i was undoing my seatbelt gathering my radio and other items that I needed and put the camera down facing the building. It took less extra time to put it down as I was getting off the truck than it took you to write you misguided comment.Unlike your useless bantor. this video helps us learn from what we did right just as much as what we did wrong. I promise it's more effective than cartoon drawings

  • Hey chasefire, all bullshitting aside, nice grab.

  • legacy- thanks, Btw anybody that has the retarded cop on their page can't be all bad lol. booobies!

  • You are an idiot.

  • Go fuck yourself

  • Awesome Rescue
