I came here because of CoD, since I wanted to know how the gun really works, and I'm surprised to see it shooting so fast, as on other videos, the lever looks really hard to pull (and loading 2 bullets at a time is a pretty interesting technique). Congratulations for the video and for your skills!

He is inserting one shell at the magazine, and the other directely into the barrel, since the lever action expose both, he is shooting faster by eliminating the need to lever it many times consecutively, shortening the reload time.

the M1887 extracts a shell from the mag when you push the lever forward, and loads it into

the chamber when you pull it back.If the mag`s empty when you cycle the lever,

it won`t chamber ammo even if you load it.That means you would have to cock the gun twice after loading

when it`s empty. He`s manually loading a shell into the chamber simultaneously to prevent that,

so he`s actually loading two shells at the same time.
