  • Thats Hideous haha

  • What are you doing at 1:25 to erase the layer mask?

It's not the eraser but it's a paintbrush?

  • Umm whats up with her eyes

  • where can i download a full version adobe??? please help

  • 2:43 looks more natural

  • great explanation but your pic looks scary

  • she looks really ugly as opposed to the two original ones ! :D haha

  • Looks so bad.

  • The colour adjustment stuff helped me a lot. I didn't know how to only apply colour balance to one layer. Thanks.

  • what happent to your voice?

  • face really needs to be smaller lol. it looks scary...

  • this tutorial is too very fast can you let it slow so that i can understand dude...make it clear.. can you talk slowly your so very fast...

  • @manhackervon What are you a foreigner? he's explaining clearly you just don't understand PS that much... not his fault.

  • @manhackervon There is a written version of the narrator's script w/ screen captures of each individual step for this tutorial at tutcast (dot) com (forward slash) photoshop-face-swap

  • I just used this to swap my male friend's face onto a bikini model and post to Facebook. Success! Thank-you :)

  • can the adjustment layer ability to only affect the layer beneath it be used on PS7?

  • @Stevenarius

Hold alt and click between the adjustment layer and the layer you want it to be applied to.

  • how do you put two pictures in the same document please help !

  • @Pena1003 just drag.

  • Thanx.. I truly appreciated.. It was great, I also loved the written version, it helped me understand the step by step.

  • NICE!

  • thats bad :/

  • lol baddd. Why dont you just use the patch tool then fix it up a bit later? Itd look alot more real...

  • Speak slowly faggot

  • I'm stucked from the very begining .... I can't drag the picture on top of the other one. I can only select the rectangular function and then paste the image, but that'a another method.

  • looks like chris crocker

  • this sounds stupid but i need help to view the toolbar/menubar found on the bottom right. I close it and dont know how to open it back. Need help!!

  • how do i select the picture so i can rotate it and aplify it??

  • @claruchithebest ctrl plus t then it should work

  • @rangauthier People will sue you if you accidently give them the common cold and they have to take 3 hours off work.

  • @rangauthier lol*

  • @rangauthier She wasn't suprised when they were released so she has probably done that kind of thing for real lik,

  • @rangauthier Sorry I didn't word it properly, thats my fault.

The photos were manipulated to add he face to the images like this video but more complex by another party trying very low tactics. What my point was, there isn't an exact law against manipulated photos that defame. But anything you may do to defame someone is against the law. So there is already a law against using photoshop to defame someone. Sort of bad at explaing these things.

  • @rangauthier Again defamation states all defamation. It is already covered under law. At least in Australia. I think we had a government person who had apparent photos of her in revealing poses released it turned out they were manipulated, the person who made them was tried for defamation.

  • @rangauthier It depends on what that image is used for not that its made. In australian law if you defame anyone anyhow then they can sue you. The method does not matter, the end result does. To say modifying images should be illegal is a very slippery slope and I can see governments using it wrongly as it borders against free speech and expression of art.

As for the stamp, it should be posted in magazines and product advertisements.

  • @rangauthier Photoshop is more flexible as just using a clone stamp tool isn't everything. I am a retoucher and do not like heavy body modifying for magazines or anything like that till that make it illegal to do so without a stamp saying its modified on the image. But photoshop is the most powerful tool out there that delivers the most realistic results for everything aswell as when you want to make desk top background and stuff. Either way it comes down to the morals not the tool.

  • @rangauthier Firstly, I said a wrench, not a gun. A wrench is a tool, a gun is a weapon. Guns are designed to cause pain and death, a wrench is designed to lighten the work of a person. Similar to photoshop it gives photographers more flexability aswell as digital artists and graphics designers.

Also what is a stain picasa? I googled it but got nothing.

  • @rangauthier And even after that, anyone who properly examined this image would know it was fake. Photoshoping can never be perfect.

  • @rangauthier Like all powerful tools you can use it to ruin someones life. From a gun, to a word. To a signature. Photoshop is a good tool for photographers because not everything goes as planned in a photoshoot. In a wedding the couple might accidently gotten dirt on the dress. Or ink, removing red eye. Or if there is dust on the chip. In other words, a wrench is helpful but use it the wrong way and you can beat someones head in.

  • cool

  • She looks quite fake. her face is too big for that hair I think.

  • @polisherci not every time being the super, answers the question,he made a quick video showing WHAT to do...isn't that enough for you? rest do it yourself...

  • @BeyondXtheXinvisible I love Howard and his videos (thank god for his existence), doesn't mean I can't do a little criticism though.

  • @polisherci sure brother,do....but u know now a days even finding a quick video is so hard, people talk too much in making video and one gets really annoyed hearing their shits.this guy just told straight to the point what to do exactly.thats why i said that...no offences.

  • hey dude, thank u very much for answering my question!!

  • Hey Iceflow, what happens when the world dosen't end on may 11 2011?

  • the head is way too big. Though pretty nice how you did it.

  • good technique but the face was too big

  • selena Gomez is hot! lol

  • I have Photoshop CS3 and I don't have that button at 1:59 to lock the adjustment layer :(

  • @NeverEndingPromises Then go your layer -> right klick -> cut mask.

  • thank uuuu, ur awesome :D

  • you're great!! thanks

  • nice :D

  • the presenter sounds like he's had too much caffeine....

  • Wow now this seems to slow for me :P

  • that's cool! on a side note, the really pale person has terrible hair extensions

  • how do you put the two photos in one page like you had in the beginning? thx

  • @longhornsnumber10 you just drag it on top using the move tool

  • @TishaTheLion okay thank you and how do you shrink a layer to fit over the background (to make the layer *face* the same size as the background face) cause I don't have those resize corners on the picture like iceflow does

  • @longhornsnumber10 no problem, if they arent there just go to edit-free transform.

you may have to do that everytime im not sure how to make it stay though. sometimes it does

  • @longhornsnumber10 Press Ctrl+T

  • Good theory. But if im completely honest, this is one of the worst, if not the worst photoshop demonstartion i've seen you do. All of your other stuff is really good, just not this.

  • @newrez whats wrong with this?

  • @TishaTheLion Its no where near as good as his other tutorials. Like I said, the theory and explaination is really good, just the finished products isn't great. The face doesn't look right. Im sure, given more time, he would have done a really good shop. This isn't it though.

  • Hey, now I can watch myself with awesome haircuts. :D

  • @iPodGuyDK use a mirror!

  • @TERRANCIO i think the person means see what they look like with different hair styles

  • Her eyes look off.

  • How did you get both pictures on one layer?

  • @ThisMarkersPermanent Its was two different documents open, he just resized them so he could see both of them.

  • This isn't the best end result you can get, but it's the fastest one, if you like to make a funny picture, I definitely recommend it if you like to work fast. The best way to morph pictures is to cut the parts you need, and reshape by hand, while working with the brush tool, but it might take a real long time. Cheers!

  • justin bieber here i come hope you like bikinis

  • Awesome tutorial with nice trick

thanks so much for your Grate Photoshop tutorials

    keep up good work

    god bless you

  • can i do this on adobe photoshop elements 9 to?

  • above image should be more smaller

    look weird right now

  • her head looks pretty massive now

  • please make a tutorial: how to make a photo smile thank you :)

  • The problem with this face is that the girl's eyes are now too high. The proportions aren't natural anymore.

  • the new FACE doesn't match the hair style!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • You should of switch the facesl.

  • um, uh, m k?

  • red riding hood "my what big face you have"

  • brilliant. u should also have the comparative from before and after ;)

  • I don't know... I would have made the other face a little bit smaller so it would fit her frame =_= but I guess that's my opinion..

  • I don't know... I would have made the other face a little bit smaller so it would fit her frame =_= but I guess that's my opinion..

  • more of a case of, "how can i make fake celeb porn"???

  • nice tutorial.

  • this is a really good tutorial

  • Picture at the end looks like a transvestite lol

  • is it just me or picture in the end looks like this 2 faces combined? XD

  • Awesome job on this one. Many people ask this question and it's nice to know.

  • That final result doesn look too realistic ! Is it because I watched it being made ? :D

  • @Randomkaoz more than you think :P i just have a crush on brunettes with black eyes.

  • @rapidistucfl damn that's serious. lol. i tip my hat to you sir.

  • What recording program do you use? I'd really like to know, because I can't find a program with a quality even near the one you're using.

  • It would be nice if you could give us links to the pictures you use in tutorials as this one :) They're probably copyrighted but still. :)

  • They're always girls...sigh.

  • That's really cool! Still looks weird though..

  • where do yiu get your pics?

  • I will take care Howard! I will!

  • that original girl is pretty :3

  • ''Free celeb pics'' popped in my head for whatever reason. :D

    YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

love your vids man, you are the best photoshop teacher!!!!

  • Oh... You have to do lesson about layer-masks, because it is rather difficult theme for beginners...

  • what if its blonde?

  • @oKazumi69 try changing the color of the hair to black or brown. i think he has a video explaining how to die hair in photoshop.

  • You should make more 3D tutorials..texts, importing models etc.

  • 0:00

  • face is too big

  • Looks photoshopped to me.

  • The Girl before looks better :D but nice tutorial

  • The person who asked this probably made a porn image

  • @Alexispelling it was for a /r/ on 4chan

  • Amazing vid!!! For people who said it's not good or realistic, fake or whatever, this is only the "method" you can obiously make it better yourself. =D

  • looks ugly and not realistic

  • Lol her face is turned sideways, thats why it look kinda strange but still a nice tutorial.

  • Absolutely not realystic. Including colour.

But another your videos are great =)

  • The end result's face is a little too big, but great tutorial!

  • It looks great in my oppinion, thank you for this amazing tutorial!:D

  • LOL

  • 1 Hot girl + 1Hot girl = THIS :D

  • It does look fake. The facial features look to large for the face.

  • @nicholasaishk You are right, but he did a very quick job this time...

  • Lol, so bad.

  • Looks fake. I would have used tweak the exposures and shadow/highlights after the color balance. Or use curves

  • Preroll on day of upload? Yikes!

  • He really makes this look easy :o)

  • You forgot mentioning shift key when reducing size for proportional result. Just add a note. Appreciate your work. TY

  • naked angelina jolie here I come!

  • @cstreitercow Hahahhaah thats a good one! (but really send it to me!)

  • @cstreitercow Dude, you don't need photoshop for that. Just watch some of her early movies.

  • @Nillerus lol

  • this is actually a good tutorial, not really perfect, but it shows the "how to".. thx..

  • lol the face is too big

  • next vid is the 222 video ..... :)

    good tutorial BTW

  • The girl on the right looked better without that nasty face pasted on it.

  • Great work :)

  • WTF that looks so real! Now everything I know could be a lie!!!!

  • Your voice is high <.<

  • Comment removed

  • she looks fucking ugly in her new look

  • @Juanfcoglezf cuz it's not a perfect job kiddo tutorial just show'd basics >.>

  • ... This is so obvious.

Since the picture you transplanted was taken at an angle and the background one wasn't, you get the impression that she's disformed (thanks to her eyes).

You got the color settings mostly right but honestly I AM DISAPPOINT

  • you do a great job

  • the chin and neck still look fake but still great tutorial

  • Woah. Your voice got high pitched. lol

  • abomination !!! : D

  • I swear I saw it moving

  • I was expecting you to use color match, but you didn't, wondering why?

  • haha! i did this a couple fo weeks ago in almost exactly the same way.... layer masks ftw

  • original girl was prettier. lol.

  • The end result looked weird, huge face lol.

  • lol the face is too big for that head. ive been practicing another similar technique. first you need to erase the face you dont want with the patch tool or healing brush/stamp clone. then bring the other face u want and erase everything except the eyes, nose mouth and eyebrows. that can give u more control on the sizes. then adjust the colors like "tom" (XD) did. and there u go.

  • now i can haz boobs?

  • very cool :D

  • Very good! :)

  • Thanks for videos like this Tom :)

  • can you turn a white person into a black person and vice versa, just wondering.

  • Umm, is anyone getting the small box on the side as a commercial offering a software showing the Video he did last week of the Face Before and After changes?
