Diaper duty? No, you have a choice even here. Your child can do it on the potty from start. There are small potties you can hold between your legs and put a baby's but over it. I did this with my 3 kids. Works fantastic, using cloth diapers as back up. Not much laundry and it costs nothing compared to disposals. It's also called Elimination communication.
