@acharad Uh, cats can retract their claws. There's really no need to have their nails trimmed. They don't use their claws while making biscuits.

If they get too long, the cat won't be able to retract them any more and there's a risk of the claw growing into the pad of the paw. So trimming is often necessary. Now declawing? That's a whole different matter. That is completely unnecessary.
