  • So much for ending the war.... Liars, they are all LIARS. What did we do? Are we out of Iraq? No, we're now in Afghanistan.... damnit it's never going to stop. This nation can't help but nation build. OIL.

  • Those things that captures me here was: "follow the money" and the fact that Hillary didn't even say anything nice to (then) Senator Obama

  • lol politicans can be so funny time to time. 3:00 - end

  • Wake up America

The Federal Reserve will use their monies and media ploys to SELECT the next president either Obamanation of America, Sara Pay-Land or Mitt Robe-Me the Demo Republicans argue with each other to fool American people into Bigger Government more control less FEEDOM

End the Fed and the inside 911 war gamers will go with them

Want health care? Bring back our troops DemoRepublican Fed employed war mongers

    Wake up America

  • So thats the shit head who wrote the assault weapons ban.

  • Obama is such a phony

  • Guess who else came out with a similar bill to ban weapons?

MItt Romney. Look up the Brady Bill.

  • Thank You very much for uploading this Hobs

  • wwyd if u were Dennis Kucinich after that comment from Biden "not liking a damn thing about you" and also his wife?

  • HUH???

  • @NYJared04 I would have the brains to realize the joke. And not get so worked up about it.

  • Fuck Biden, and your assault weapons ban. He doesn't mention that he tried to pass that AFTER "posse cometatus" <- not spelled correctly, was passes... which means the military can now police the streets inside the US, which is an extreme "change" Thanks dumbasses... we've had Democrats in congress since '06 and shit isn't changing... BTW at 4:17, the guy means "Council on Foreign Relations", that's why shit won't change with Iraq, the 14 US bases their, and the embassy a large as the Vatican.

  • thanks for keeping this up hobobob.

remembered the last lighthearted exercise in this clip and wanted to rewatch it - following the u.s presidential elections can be wearying=P

  • gravel got screwed over so much

  • Amen I love you! Hillary's a bitch!

  • at least their not trying to rip each other's heads off like in the republican debate

  • good interview question, some good answers text book like.

  • follow the money

  • Instead of supporting or saying bad things about any of the candidates, I wanna say thank you for uploading this debate and the others as well. I need to do a report for my AP Gov class at school and I'm glad for having this debate to refer to, tho in the end, I still do not know who I want to support. But thank you.

  • I looooooooooooooove Hillary

  • I hate you!

    Obama '08!

  • based off all of these debates, ive found that of the top three edwards is the most appealing and fair. barack is a mystery, and i do not trust hillary. she has too much to prove in my estimation. edwards seems to have a no strings attached plan. and by strings i mean lobbyists (sort of)

  • whats the song during the OBAMA campaign Video..

    OBAMA '08!

  • I hate how everyone avoids every question. I wish they would just get to the point and be honest for once!

  • i like the last question :) lol

  • how about Obama as Pres and Kucinich as VP.. that would rock

  • that would be the best possible combination

  • Obama had a really good 'YouTube' type video

  • Obama or Hilary sure why not.. Dennis Kucinich would be a wicked president though.. That guy rules.. and he wants to impeach Cheney

  • I personally am routing for obama or clinton. ifwe had to have a republican pres id pick huckabee tho. im not too hot on his stance on abortion, gay marriage, and the dont ask dont tell policy but as long as he doesnt try to impliment too much change in those areas id be ok

  • Kucinich is definitely the best-- too bad he recently wanted Iowa supporters to give a vote to Barak Obama... he's not ready to be president. I'm for Hillary Clinton b/c she's ready, distinguished, intelligent and she'll surround herself with an innovative, effective administration. I think Bill Clinton would make a great First Lady!

  • GO Kucinich! He may be "farthest to the left," but that just might be what this country needs right now!

  • hey democrats... watch out for Ron paul

  • i like ron paul and dennis hey but we all know our vote dont count but we hope it does but i think we screwed lol and that guy with the m-16 does need help holy mother of mary

  • Ron Paul is the only republican candidate I'd even CONSIDER voting for, but some of his policies seem way to radical to me. He's got some interesting ideas (most of which would still be far better than Bush's), but many of them just aren't realistic.

  • well seeing as how the democratic party is barely even considered left anymore, there shouldn't be any issue of cooperation between the dems and paul and his avid republican supporters in office when he's prez.

  • Is it just me or is Ron Paul so far right and Kucinich so far left they have some how met on the other side...and is that distant shore libertarianism?

  • Why is Hillary Clinton competent to be President when she can't follow simple instructions. She was suppose to turn to Barack Obama and say something nice about him.

Didn't she not understand what she was suppose to do?

  • Go Democrats all the way !

  • Democrats unite! they are all superb candidates!

Republicans, go away! this time you won't rig the elections.

  • I love what Biden said at the beginning! no guns!!

  • is it just me or dose edwards look at least a litel like JFK?

  • Biden is a dip

  • What kind: Salsa? Cheese dip?

  • Biden is by far the best the Dems have to offer.

  • richardson is the kinda reminds me of jim belushi he's got that classic american beer belly sunday night football kinda wit....he's just one of the guys. lovin it.

  • hahaha Andersen is such a sh** disturber

Dodd: I have nothing negative to say, we need less negativity today in politics.

Andersen: Umm...ok so you're NOT going to answer the question.

    jokes.

  • gravel must be kicking himself in this last round.

  • Haha... So true!!

  • poop all of it

  • Imagine the amount of shit the gun nut is getting from his friends!

  • I wholeheartedly agree leviathanken,

If you look at certain political charts, those two candidates are the only 'true' liberals. Mike Gravel was right about following the money too. All of the other candidates actually do lean slightly to the right in accordance with world politics, if not centrist. The only 'major' candidate I could see myself voting for is John Edwars but im not gonna quit fighting while Senator Gravel has a chance.

    Mike Gravel 08!!!

  • HOW DARE YOU INSULT SHEEP?!

  • whoooooooooooot, hilary!!!!!!! obama!! one of them. but i like hilary.

oh yeah, that guy with the baby. he does need help. LMAo

  • DENNIS K, ALL THE WAY!

  • That was a kind of fun question. I love Joe Biden. He's been around so long he doesn't even care. "ridiculous exercise" indeed. haha and i like how bill richardson was filling up his cabinet with the people on stage with him. lol

  • Personally I love this youtube format. I hope we something like that up here in Canada.

  • God, did Biden REALLY just hit on Kucinich's wife?

GRAVEL was unfairly ignored in this debate. politicians are stereotyped as being crooked and dishonest. GRAVEL is THE honest politician. We could really benefit from his presidency.

  • I personally think that this entire debate was pointless... Find out the real issues, Google Ron Paul

  • No, I refuse to vote for anybody who supports "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Ron Paul is a moron for supporting that bigoted, anachronistic policy.

  • i disagree... they have no idea what questions will come so that means they will say what they feel not a paper that someone else did or or of course themselves.

  • That's true. I don't know what issues Ron Paul is talking about but if these issues in this video aren't the real issues then what America is Ron Paul running for president in?

  • Kucinich!!! Nice MOVE!!!!

  • KILL EM

    MIKE GRAVEL

    KILL EM

  • that last question was hella stupd way to go CNN I bet there are better questions out there

  • Mike Gravel

  • Hillary laughed at the man in the gun video question when Gov. Bill Richardson was responding to it, saying that no one that is mentally ill should be able to buy a gun. She is not a good person. Please vote for Gravel if you want real change and if you want a president with morals, character, and a solid history. It's like ping pong between the three in the middle, obviously rigged for most media coverage, so look him up.

  • Good on Kucinich, nice response. Biden's remark was hilarious. I really appreciated his performance in this debate.

  • ??? how is that. Believe it or not some people LIKE being left...it is not a slam it is something to be proud of considering the current state we are in. If you can't see that then I feel bad for you :(

  • Nobody to the left of Dennis...I LOVE it!!

  • dennis got owned lol

  • hey can some one please explain to me the joke that no one is to the left of dennis?? maybe im naive, i just dont get it.

  • dennis is the last person standing to the far left of the row. dennis being way "LEFT", means that he is so extremely "liberal" and so far from conservative [which is "RIGHT"] that they could not find any other democratic candidate who is more liberal or more "LEFT" than he is, so they booted him to the last position on the left side of the row.

  • yea anderson was quick on that one

  • i love you dennis kucinich. you are absolutely fabulous.

also, this was a fantastic idea, whoever came up with this.

  • Enforcing background checks for those who want to buy a gun is in theory a good idea, but isn't it an unfunded mandate?

Mike Gravel is right, follow the money. Look back in history and it will be found that most controversies, if not all have, been started on the basis of either sex or money. To bad Gravel doesn't have a real chance, he's one of the most honest politicians standing up there.

  • totally agree with you, rocketflameman - i was surprised at what a real person biden came off as in this debate. concrete, upfront, honest. nice! And thank YOU, **Hobobob10**, for posting all this!! wow, what a look into these candidates. i couldn't get over the impression that this whole affair uncovered a very real side to each one... for better or worse!

  • Of all the democrats, I was very impressed with Biden. Ture, he was not allowed to speak as much as the others. They clearly favored Hillary and Obama in allowing people to speak.

  • Great way of reaching out to the people! Is the rebublicas going to do something like this so we can see thier view on things as well?

  • The republicans will be doing one on November 28. All of the candidates so far except for Mitt Romney have agreed to participate.

  • Great! Looking forward to it ^^

  • Mitt Romney is so stupid, he said having a snowman asking questions did not yield "enough respect for ppl running for president" give me a break. Even when I look at him or hear him, all I get is "faker"! How can he help America when all he's done his entire life is amass money?

  • I think this entire debate biden talked once... whats up with that...

  • thats because they didn't let Kucinich answer. He stands and says it straight as well as Gravel.

  • However, I'd have to say that at this point, Obama is the only candidate who impresses me. Yes, I know that he's young and not as experienced as the others, but he has his heart right and the right ideas. He's not yet tainted by all the politics like all the others. With an experienced cabinet and team around him, I firmly believe that he will make a great president.

  • Yes, as in any debate, you have candidates that dance around the questions as some of them did in this debate. I wish each candidate had received equal "face time" as Gravel indeed did not get his fair share. Unfortunately, most of the debate was centered around Clinton and Obama.

  • my vote goes to clinton. that pink coat stands out and she's got great stage presence. haha.

  • from the view of a european, the american tendency to solve problems and defend freedom with gunpower is frightening at best... and because i know that this will come up: it's not because i'm a whiny european... in europe we had so many wars, so many deads within all the centuries... why doesn't america sees this as what it is, a bad example in terms of violence and destructive power... guns in the hands of civilians cause - by far - more problems than they could ever solve.

  • really you think so after Georgia allowed people to carry concealed weapons on their state highways there was a staggering decrease of armed assault on those highways

yet in england where guns are illegal there has been a tremendous increase of home robberies while the owners are present

i'm for gun control, but i do believe in the right to defend myself and my family

  • It's a well known fact that states with gun control in the US have higher crime rates than those who let their people carry a gun. Look at Canada: More guns per citizen, yet much less crime. Why is that? Because it's a cultural difference on how you live and think. In America the society is based on fear and thinking you might get killed if you're not really careful. I think Canadians are more relaxed on these issues. I also think there are some political differences to why there is less crime.

  • don't you think it's a little bit too easy to correlate the crimerate only with gun control? i believe there are many additional factors that have impact on this issue...

  • No, but it leaves to show that gun control hasn't help. Gun control was put in there to fight criminality, but it never worked. In states however that have given easier access to guns the criminal rate has gone down. And let's take school shootings f.ex. Without (as far as I know) almost no exception has the school shootings been in states with gun control. What does this tell you? That gun control in the US has totally failed and it's bullshit.

  • I agree with edisekeed, they mainly danced around the questions the only person that really put himself out there was gravel. And whats with all the same type of questions (youtube clips) they were just taking up time.

  • This was the worse debate in the history of America. All pointless youtube clips to waste time and no direct answers from any of the politicians. I still dont know what any of the democrats stand for or what they will do to change any policy in america

  • Get some paper, a clip board, a pen or pencil and rewatch all of the videos of this debate and take notes. Then do pros and cons on the information you get. I understood what these candidates stand for, the rule of law which our current administration is not for. These candidates would each be ten times better than Bush could ever be. Please watch again and take notes.

  • i think you should watch the debate again cause they were pretty clear. especially kucinich and gravel

  • I HATE PINK

  • ahaha

Obama sounds so much like Dwayne Johnson. Too good.

  • John Edwards comment reminds me of a little something Ann Coultier said...

  • perhaps YOU should get a cancer screening. ;-)

  • Hitler Clinton did not even answer the question, What do you like and dislike about the guy to your left? And who cares about her damn coat!

  • Okay, first of all, I am guessing you are not jewish, but if you are not you should really watch how you throw the name hitler around. I am jewish, and my grandmother was a holocaust survivor, so when you throw the name around like that, it's offensive. In addition, Senator Clinton has fought for the rights of women, black people (with affirmative action during her husband's presidency) and other minority groups so not only is that nickname offensive, but downright unintelligent and wrong.

  • You mean what the Clinton's did TO America, Mr. Edwards.

  • He just called someone mentally imbalanced for calling his gun his "baby". That was figurative I'm sure. These are the guys deciding whether you are sane or capable enough for owning a gun. The 2nd Ammendment was to protect us from this type of government.

    Ron Paul2008. com

    freeme*tv

  • i am really starting to get sick of the "ron paul 2008 internet street team." seriously.

  • Have you check him out? He is the only candidate for the American people, the Constitution, and Liberty.

    Ron Paul2008. com

    freeme*tv

  • Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul ...

How fast can you say it 10 times in a row?

Are you a Ron Paul junkie?

You better be, he is the only one!

    The chosen one.

Y'all are secretly libertarians. You just need to escape your shell.

Come ye, and check your beliefs, cause you're wrong and Ron Paul convinced me with sheer honesty. He'll convince you too, I just know it.

What, don't agree? You must have misunderstood! I'll say it again then!

Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul....

  • 2. But I must confess: it's a lot like American Idol. The question is: who is the Melinda Doolittle of this crew? The one with the real talent, flexibility and style, but unfortunately, the "short neck"?

I personally think it's Kucinich, . . . . but I grew up in Cleveland in the 70's, and I have a bias. I've seen how time can prove him right . . . as time has proven him right about Iraq. . . .

  • 1. Thanks Hobobob. I just spent a hot sweaty evening in an un-airconditioned room watching all of these, and I appreciate the fact they're all here!

  • Great debate. Thanks for posting. Shame more people don't watch. Can't wait for 08'

  • Thanks for the upload. Even though I'm voting for Ron Paul watching these are still interesting.

  • Just finished watching all 19 videos. Thanks for posting them! Its given me a new perspective on alot of the dem. candidates.

  • i honestly feel like the democrats are all the order of the phoenix, fighting for a greater good, pooling their ideas in 12 Grimmauld Place on ways that they can overthrow the republican death eaters. you all know what i'm talking about.

  • erelis26, you must have just seen Harry Potter... While your point is humorous, it is not necessarily valid. I am a registered Democrat, however I feel that it is not the Republicans themselves that are the problem, it is the nation itself and our way of life. There are people with far too much money, on the flip-side some are dying from the lack of food. The income gap is outlandish. I feel that our tax and wage structures need to be radically altered if we are going to prosper.

  • Check out Ron Paul2008. com. He never voted for a tax raise and is against the IRS and the Federal Reserve. He wants to eliminate the IRS and income taxes and allow other forms of currency, i.e. libertydollar. org. That would be better for all Americans I think.

  • If any of you are going to send a video question to the Republican debate, please speak clearly and eliminate any background noise. Thank you.

  • Hey Hobobob, I want to thank you again for posting this. I didn't get a chance to see the CNN/YouTube debate and I felt upset about it for a few days but not anymore.

  • god that last question was a waste of time

  • I'd feel much better about these youtube debates if youtube users picked the questions, not cnn

  • i agree. right on

  • Hobobob you rock! Thanks for you posting these videos man!

  • Hobobob for president! lol

  • Gravel and Kucinich were the only ones not vomiting bullshit all over us the entire debate. My vote is going to Gravel. When someone tells the truth and gets cut off for it, that usually means their on to something worth while. Plus Kucinich is to much of a pansy.

  • Re: Kucinich... when will you people evolve and realize that real strength lies in the ability to stand vulnerable and honest. Think about it. If you can do that, you can do anything. Kucinich is the bravest person up there. That said, Edwards for President. ha.

  • Haha I know what you mean. I really like Kucinich, and I really like Edwards, but my vote goes to Senator Clinton. I used to like Obama and said "hey, he should run for president" after his key note speech for Kerry but now I really dislike him. And i think Richardson is a closet republican/future Joe Lieberman. Other than that I think any of them would be great presidents.

  • That being said I would vote for any democrat over any of the republicans that Karl Rove can put out there.

  • Richardson is centrist in his views, but he is very strong in his track record and he has a lot of foriegn policy experiance. I like hi even though I'm not voting for him

  • good analysis. I mostly concur, but may I ask, why Clinton? Are you by chance female? or bc you think she is most electable? and why are you down on Obama?

[insert Democratic nominee here] FOR PRESIDENT!!

  • If being left is not being a corporate lapdog and letting them suck the people dry for the benefit of a few then where's the insult? And Kucinich's right: he isn't radical, his views are actually quite mainstream. He is a radical POLITICIAN for not being a sell-out. As a citizen he isn't radical.

  • It's true: follow the money. Also look at their (voting) record. Do not let the mainstream media dictate who is a worthy candidate. Following this path leads me personally to Kucinich. Where do you find yourself?

  • agreed

  • Kucinich owns, but out of curiosity, what are you going to do if/when kucinich doesn't win the nomination? I'm personally going third/independant, but how about fellow kucinich supporters?

  • I really like kucinich and would like to see him in the white house, but in terms of lying he is not clean. Of course no one is politics is completely honest, but i do like that he has the guts to lead the impeachment movement (not that that's extremely gutsy as 56 percent of americans want impeachment), among other things.

  • out of curiosity, what has kucinich lyed about?

  • Guns...I am a very strong advocate of the second amendment right to bear arms. I believe that guns are to protect and to defend people. But when a person loves a gun more than the people that the gun is supposed to protect, that fellow has got some serious issues. I'm not sure if that person should even have a gun at that point.

  • why can't every debate be like this from now on?

  • thanks so much for these postings

  • People should not discount any candidate on the basis of party affiliation. They should look them all over very carefully. I have checked all their voting records and there are only a few that do what they say and do not take money from special interest. Out of all of them the only ones that may do what they say is Kucinich, Gravel and Ron Paul. Check for yourself. These men have stuck to their word for years and years.

  • agreed. Kucinich, Gravel, and paul are the only completly non-corrupt candidates. Not that corruption makes someone a bad choice necessairily, but as a matter of principle I will only vote for someone non-corrupt. I'm going to vote for the perfect candidate, not the strategic one. For those who don't care about corruption, though, clinton might be the best choice. Her husband did about as good as we can expect from a mainstream candidate, and her views are very similar.

  • meant to say this election, not this year...

  • To: Hobobob10 Thank you for posting these videos. I'm a new American, ready to vote this year for the first time, and I am grateful that you have given people access to this debate.

  • Clinton has such an evil laugh and glair! so fing sexy

  • Thank you for uploading.

  • Degradding debbate, the set up around mike gravel the fluffy attention on hillary and obama and the ridiculous flipflopping.

Dennis and mike gravel, i salute you!

  • Thank you for giving this European the chance to watch the debate, Hobobob! Too bad Kucinich and Gravel only got so little questions and so little time. That's a deliberate move by CNN to try to exclude their voices from the debate.

  • Wow only 202 views at the end of this long process of watching the 19 videos and then making a comment. This is history that can be looked at year in and year out. I like the quote that every one is loved on stage and would make a great vice president. I like youtube to the left and I think that iphone will be a great new invention where I can look up wikipedia dot org and find "Baha'u'llah"

  • What are your thoughts on space exploration.

  • Thank you so very much for the time and effort you put into this Hobobob10. I cannot tell you how many times I missed a debate and could not find a copy anywhere. Every debate from federal to local should be available to the people with this kind of ease. I think it could have a huge impact on voter turn out once everyone could be involved in the conversation.

  • that was almost real and kinda sweet. weird.

  • peace

  • FAG

  • "If that's his baby, he needs help." - Thanks Biden, made the biggest impression on me during this debate. Thanks Hobobob10!

  • Exactly. Like he really needs that. Glad somebody had the balls to say it.
