  • You are an idiot. Your video sucks. You think you are on Food Network and you aren't good enough to wipe Paula Dean's butt. You are so white and straight and stupid. Your pizza looks gross and you think you are so suave. You are too fat to be eating such a tiny pizza.

  • @PuggyLuvr In response:

"You are an idiot" that is probably true, I haven't always made the best decisions

"You think you are on the FN and you aren't' good enough to wipe Paula Dean's butt" Well this one is a little trickier. I know I'm not on the Food Network the hate me, and I've come out pretty hard against what Paula Dean did so I don't think she'd let me any where near her butt.

"You are for white and straight and stupid" yes, yes and yes.

"Your pizza looks gross" beauty is relative

  • lol i wish i had an oven like yours cause it has a timer and thats sweet

  • This is by far the most simple and easy to understand method I have seen here. Thanks man! :)

  • @fk1985 no problem, try it and just be sure to take a pic and post it on our Facebook page.

  • i like your show ;)

  • who was holding the camera when mike wasnt looking? :D

  • @myvidsrrandom24 I was, we're an equal opportunity shop.

  • I'm a pizza maker and I don't even measure it. Lol One thing I would like to point out is that you want your sauce to be less watery. Where I work we at 1/2 a teaspoon of tomato paste, teaspoon of alfredo sauce, pasta sauce, suprisingly tablespoon of ketchup, salt, 1/2 teaspoon of onion vinegar, some chopped up basil and then we add some vodka to it(Don't worry the alcohol cooks off). We get about 400 customers a day. We are located in a town of about 1200 people. Lol

  • Unfortunately I am a mom who is challenged in the kitchen. I stumbled on your pizza making video last night. My girls and I watched it and you really made it look so easy. I was very skeptical but I went out this morning to buy all the necessary ingredients and followed your super easy directions. I am ASTONISHED how wonderful the pizzas turned out to be. Its like all my cooking prayers have been answered..lol.....Thank you very much. I look forward to watching your cooking videos !!

  • @gsuruchi1 don't say unfortunately, there's nothing wrong with being a mom. :-)

So glad your pizza worked out. Next try the Chicken roll ups, you'll love them. Thanks again and stay in touch. Next time take a pic and send it to me.)

  • @cookingfordads Dear Dummy:

She didn't say unfortunately she's a mom. DUH she said unfortunately she's a mom who is challenged in the kitchen. you ding dong.

What the hell is wrong with you? Women apologizing for being moms?? Like she should say, "Dear F@@k for Brains, I am sorry I didn't get an abortion, but oh well." I really hate you!

  • looks delish.

  • awesome...

thanks for the homemade pizza lesson man!

  • I like how the rolling pin looks like a lint remover. =D

  • CULINARY FAIL!!!

  • pineapple mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • why do i get the feeling he would rather be baking cookies and watching sex and the city

  • haha you eat it then when you show the pizza all the pieces are there

  • How could you eat it while the camera person isn't looking, and record it. Just a little problem...

  • just spray the cookie sheet with a cooking spray and sprinkle with cornmeal. That way you don't transfer stuff from the parchment paper and tin into your food. But, the pizza looks great

  • great great great video, made my first pizza n it was fantastic. thanks a lot

  • can u cook a pizza with tinfoil

  • @MetalKillJoy I think so, but I've never done it. let me know how it works.

  • Thanks so much! I subscribed to you as soon as I saw your title, "Cooking For Dads"

Im a father and I get my kids a few times a week. After awhile ordering pizza, or just getting fast food kinda hurts the pockets, thats when its time to actually learn to cook. And this is perfect because it really helps me and my girls to work together and enjoy something we all made! cant wait to see your other videos, keep up the great work for us dads!

  • @willwoe you are welcome. Take a pic of something you make and send it to me. Love to see it.

  • Pineapple isn't sweet or spicy at all. They're sour.

  • pineapple on pizza? I hate when people do that.

  • @tappinasians welcome to Minnesota. :-)

  • @cookingfordads You idiot! They serve pineapples everywhere in the world You are so stupid. Corky from Life Goes On is smarter than you. What the hell is wrong with you? And why are you welcoming her to Minnesota? Did she fly out there just to see you? NO! Anyway, your recipes are obnoxious! And so are your kitchen curtains. It is 2012 idiot!

  • @tappinasians i think it tastes good with pineapple though!

  • @tappinasians Love Pineapple, onions and jalapeños.

  • @tappinasians >>Pizza Hawaii<< :P

  • homo

  • this is nearly exactly how I make it , works fine

just don't flour the pie too much on the sides or add too much oil , gives up bad tastes. breadcrubs are very useful to help slide the pizza into the oven from the board without loosing much heat just make sure it slides nicely

lastly you should use thicker sauce for it not to soak the crust.

hot oven\shorttime+watery core = awesome dough.

kind of sick from all the pizza I made recently , got a few 'last slices' from bad ones in the fridge

  • now you make me wanna have some pizza

  • I'm a Chef and I love the show, I'm used to having all this industrial equipment available, Cooking for Dads reminds me how my passion started and that I can still make great food at home.

  • you are much too kind. Thanks for the nice words. I appreciate your support. Stay in touch.

  • why pasta sauce, why not pizza sauce??

  • you can use either. I just figure most people have some pasta sauce around and it works great. It's a little lighter than the pasta sauce. try it and let me know what you think.

  • Dude that does really look like a pizza... I am being honest...

  • Did it taste good?Your reaction at the end was just =|

  • It's awesome. I'm making it tonight again. rb

  • id o mine with biscut dough becuase thats how my home ec does it

  • nice video, i tried to make pizza at the age of 5-6 with like 5 other kids (alll younger than 11 im sure) it tasted nasty really nasty. but you have shown me the ways of the pizza.thanks rob.

  • Your awsome, I'm making my 4th Pizza Night. I make mine in a larger cooking pan for the whole family. What can you do with the leftover dough, but not sweet?

  • Save it for tomorrow and make a "leftover" calzone. See the video I posted a month ago. it makes a whole new meal out of leftovers. rb

  • niceeeee vids man. i never cooked before so ill try either that pizza or another recipe from ur website.

hopefully my gf will like it.

keep it up. ur vids are great/

  • you're awesome!

  • How many pizza can you make from the amount of flour you show in this video? Are you able to show us how to make a 12 inches (or larger) pizza that we purchase from any pizza shop?

  • you can make 5 or 6 small pizzas like you see us make, or 2 or 3 bigger ones. It depends how thin you want to roll it. The rest is the same as far as making a small one. You can make it as big as you want, or as big as your oven is. RB

  • set it to how many degree, sir?

  • At least 450 F, I made it last night and set it to 500 but most ovens won't go that high. Go as high as your oven will allow.

    THX RB

  • wow..that's a fast reply..thanks,pal xD and your video makes cooking looks easier..hahaha thanks again for the info..

  • On what temperature do you put the dough on?

  • lol good for morning pizza or something Strange

  • but morning pizza is awesome T_T

  • wow how do u make those pizzas your so awesome

  • Dude, there's nothing wrong with turkey, your acting like its poison or something. By the way, thanks.

  • handy dandy XD

  • hey how long does it take for the doe to rise? you're awesome!

  • thanks, so are you!

25 - 30 minutes if you use regular yeast and 15 if you use quick rise yeast. Take a pic if you make it and send it in.

  • Quick tip: Ragu Pizza sause is an Exelent choice!

  • what about HUNTS spaggeti sause°°

  • Hunts would work as well.

  • Your going to share that with us youtubers right? :)

  • i like the pasta sauce idea. i usualy use tomato pure but its a bit strong

also a bit off cheader is nice aswhell ( real cheader not the American crap)

  • Another thing is, you dont have to put the cheese on first, you can put the toppings on first but make sure all the meat goes on top of the cheese.

  • I just wanted to say thanks a lot!! My friends and I had a pizza making contest and everyone else used store bought dough. Thanks to your show, I was able to make the best tasting pizza (and not to mention best tasting crust!). Thanks again!

  • You are so welcome. I'm glad it worked. next time take a photo and send it to me. cook well.

    RB

  • Another thing you can use in place of the parchment paper is a little bit of cornmeal - it's inexpensive and will keep the pizza from sticking to the pan. It works very well!

  • this guy likes sayin the word sauce too much lol

  • LOL hahaha 5:09 - 5:12 doesn't look like he enjoyed it

  • ok, I caught the Christian reference "He has risen indeed!!!"...I will subscribe just because of that...really, your videos are great..

    God Bless

  • wow that was grat, and that pizza looked yummy.

    love the video

  • good video, you sound a lot like demetri martin!

  • LOL

    i love this show now

  • i'm doin everything rite but i can't get the dough to rise what can i be doing worng

  • Your yeast may be too old, are you using a new packet. also don't make your water too hot. to be exact, it should be 105 degrees F. When you add the yeast to the water, it should foam a little after a couple minutes. If you make one, take a pic and send it to me. Rob

  • can you use spaghetti sauce as for pizza sauce or it taste different?

  • That's what I use, pasta sauce. it tastes great

  • YUM!

  • i wish i had a dade like you...

  • I don't mean to impose but may I have a slice?

  • you're not imposing, sure, help yourself. :-) rb

  • Sweet thanks!

  • YUMMMM

  • Good dough recipe. I froze the extra dough. I'm hoping that it turns out alright when thawed. Thanks.

  • froze? I hope that works. Let me know. Take a pic of your pizza and send it in. thanks

  • that looks yummy

  • how comes the pizza looks untouched at the cook well bit but u try some BEFORE? if you get what i mean :)

  • i may have computer generated the pizzas in the second shot.:-) Just kidding. I can't tell if there are bites taken out of the pizza's at the cook well. i shoot the ending usually 3 times. So it could be that we shot the Cook well before the bite, but then reversed them in editing. Good catch.!! peace, rb

  • dont cook with ringg ...

  • I'm sorry, but I think I like Micheal's pizza mo-

re. Yeah, I'm a carnivore. HELL YA!

  • Pizza Making Tip # 420, from a manager of Original 2 Pizzas:

When putting the toppings on the pizza, no matter what size, no matter what topping, always start with the outside and work your way in, and do what Mr. Barrett says, "Less is more." Bon appetite!

  • i am kid and i better do pizza like that dad

  • hahahahaha add

  • Video quality was OK. Some of the things you said i couldn't hear. otherwise, i give you 4 stars.great video, quick, easy, and delicous

  • great nice job

  • boy my mom is doing something wrong; she bakes the crust then adds toppings then sticks in the oven again and it is burnt. she wonders why i don't eat it. it's as tough as a rock. *emailing vid to my mom right now

  • I could totally see this working as a TV show. It's better than a lot of garbage on the Food Network now!

  • Hey hey, there's still good stuff on there, Good Eats and Emeril Lagasse.

  • lol rachel ray BWAHAHAHAHAA

  • iron chef!!

  • iron chef!!

  • The way you flattened the pizza dough was quite untraditiional but it looks tasty, which is I guess more important.

  • Yeah, you aren't supposed to use a rolling pin. If you do the crust will be thinner as you get to the edge, not thicker as it would be if you had used your hands.

  • Greetings from Malaysia. Nice pizza there :)

  • fine vid

all americans should be like this guy

  • good robert, you did an awsome job, you seem like a great dad and this comment is coming from a 12 year old, keep it up

  • good, you make it look easy

  • Im not a dad or even a guy, Im only 16. but I love watching your videos.

  • Great point! Kind of like YouTube Home Ec./Life Skills classes. Great treat for mom sometime! (hint hint.)

  • very good.. but you forgot the basil and garlic

  • I know, I know, the frost had already taken it's toll on our garden. I love those and put them in almost everything, but just then we were all wiped out.

  • This pizza looks terrific. I can almost taste it. Thanks!

  • You are TOO funny! Love it!
