  • I'm assuming this is some kind of eye surgery (reason unknown to me). It's incredible that this delicate of surgery can be done. Modern technology is amazing.

  • @boognish1975 No. Though to be fair - they do look kinda similar - the gooey stuff is a gel we use in eye surgery to protect the cornea and inflate the eye to give us more space to work in. The 'egg' is actually the inside of your eye. It has that pleasant orange glow to it because the light is shining unfocused off the back of the retina.
