  • nice

  • Busy bees.

  • Ton and a squadron of developers attacks in 0:56

  • That sir is awesome!

  • Is blender 2.5 mainly for animations and making a video game or is just as good for modeling like the older versions

  • it is extremely organic like , like the formation of a nucleotides in a sea of ameno acids , or the group organization through evolutionaire fractal formula ,

  • ...!

  • Fuck me this is amazing. It's like watching a neural network, a super consciousness evolving itself an update to bring back to the source.

  • Spore ?! :D

  • uh... what is this? it looks freakin awesome, but... fwa?

  • amazing :)

  • What is the music?

  • Time for a new one!

  • Love It =)

  • WONDERFUL job bob!

  • very organic, I like it. I think it give a noob a good picture of how many people are working on blender

  • Everything is procedural ?!? Wow... its beautiful !!!

  • am new in 3d modeling. but after see this video am like blender. now download and try to do something .

  • Good video! :)

    Off topic-

One day, California will be overwhelmed and our focus on progress and distractions such as technology would need to halt in order to repair the educational systems.

  • At risk of sounding disturbed, I'm going to say there is something very organic and sensual about this video. It portrays the developers in a very holistic light. I think I'm gonna go hug a tree now.

  • lmao

  • gives you brain orgasm, great vid, great process!!!

  • I hope the final 2.5 release include the arrays sketching tool built in but if not, I'll still use it from time to time.

  • Array sketching that is, I'll use the heck out of Blender 2.5 of coarse.

  • Looks like a microorganism evolving into something more complex... hmmm, much like Blender itself... very nice! I like it!

  • Just puts it into perspective exactly how much work the Devs do to make Blender possible.

Amazing way to represent it as well! Very cool to watch.

  • Wow, that was the most mesmerizing vid I've seen in a long time. I was like I've pictured humans all along as worker bees building a larger smarter source. So cool.

  • That was very cool! :)

(Is this all automated off of a script? How much is actually modeled/animated by hand? Either way, great video!)

  • Actually it was all done by script. There was very little work done by me.

    Cheers,

    Bob

  • @bobholcomb How does Gource work?

  • Holy crap that's awesome!
