There are two versions of the main theme on iTunes, but some of the best parts of the score aren't included in these 3 minute track. The Prague version is much better if you want to buy one. Other than that, it's nearly impossible to find the soundtrack online (at least through legal means). Intrada used to carry it, but their license expired. If anyone is willing to share their tracks with me, please let me know! Thanks!

Wow a sequel coming by evidently the man that directed it back in '84. I hope they at least use the same theme music. Lance Guest was 24 when this came out in '84 - he'll be 50 in 2010. But this is still MY DREAM AT AGE 30 and I'll never forget how watching this and listening to the opening and closing theme music drove me ecstatic as a kid till now and forever more - A TRUE CLASSIC. THE 80'S ROCK ON!!!!!!!
