  • good spirited soldiers-but no good equipment at hand.the navy warships had poor armor.the tanks were obsolete.the artillery was from ww1 and obsolete.the airforce fighter planes had too weak engines.the chiefs of staff were incompetent due to economic restrictions and not paying attention to detail for demanding organizational changes to the entire army.for all of these shortcomings the italian soldier performed admirable.

  • Che pantomima!

  • A Capitano speaking to his men- Men in combat It is VITAL to know how to jump through flaming hoops with Motorcycles!!!!

  • siete una banda di disperati fuori dal tempo

  • faccetta nera

  • Humor: what are they circus performers? lol

  • @Rico8458 I thought the same. Looks like they are educating Circus performers. But they were some of the most elite italian soldiers during WWII.

  • @wijse It was a mix of gymnastic education and combat exercising; those italians had still a sort of ancient physical view of war.

  • at El Alamein, between 25 October and 4 November, the 6000 lions of Folgore Division were under attack from 50 000 men three British divisions 44th (Home Counties) Infantry Division, 50th (Northumbrian) Infantry Division, 7th Armoured Division Desert Rats with 350 tanks, 250 armore, 1st and 2nd Free French and the Royal Hellenic Brigades, supported by RAF and 400 cannons of UK Artillery. After 11 days of battle British have failed to break through in the Italian sector. 200 men survived.

  • Nice music, I always love the Italian music! 'Faccita Nera' or something was this right.

I've never seen this before! 5stars.

  • @itseasyforyou Yeah, this was "Faccetta Nera", a song of 1935 (Ethiopia campaign). And YEAH - music was all we had: hymn, marches, "songs in the time of war". No modern and enough airforce, no armour to speak about, not enough men, warships beautiful to look at but with no fuel to rub them, no radar. Was this a "power" to throw into a war against practically the whole world??!!! Mindless idiots. Makes me mad every time I think about it. I was around then.

  • @itseasyforyou "Faccetta nera"; famous fascist song.
