  • The Aikido guys looks like a better striker/kicker than the karate guy. I think the result would have been different had the karate white belt actually knew how to fight. The true fest of effectiveness would be to place an AIkido Master (someone athletic and young) into a ring with another Martial Artist with same years of training under NHB/Vale Tudo rules (that would favor Aikido wrist locks). THen see what happens (face punches, take downs, full contact, grappling, etc.)

  • good stuff, love the concept.. but all the one guy did was some leg kicks. hardly saw him try and punch. especially while being grabbed.
