That leap mainly has to do with the much more powerful console hardware. GUN on 360 is an almost direct port of a PS2 game instead of a real 360 title, so all the comparisons to Red Dead Redemption here kind of fall flat.

Besides, it's not like GUN was ever a graphical showcase, even back then it looked mediocre at best. RDR, on the other hand, definitely is. Anyway, there are tons of games from 2005 that easily beat this in terms of graphics. Just saying.
