  • Interesting video, I think the guy had a lot of fair points, a LOT of science is guess work, evolution is not fact, I BELIEVE in evolution, but it is a convenient belief. I was told it by someone in authority and the people I have spent my life with believe it so I hold it to be true. There is a very scary hypocritical element to people who say they work by reason but don’t question those assumptions. What this guy here has done is more important than education, it’s thought.

  • Ok. The smartest things that came out of people's mouths in this video comes from the college students. 1st. Science does not disprove evolution. 2nd. This evangelist makes Christianity look like a stupid religion. 3rd. Thanks to @KillBotDriver for acknowledging that the bible was written by people that thought the earth was flat. 4th. The bible is so controversial. One book says Judas fell down and exploded, and another says he hung himself. Do you really believe that G_d is that fickle.

  • The bible was written by people that thought the earth was flat.

  • @KillBotDriver The bible said the Earth was round before anybody knew that is was round, you have not read any of it have you ? ISAIAH 40:22

  • Wow.

  • that kid at the end was all like you know right and then you really gotta you look n stuff see? wtf? HAHAHA

  • christianity is utter bullshit; a neo-pagan faith for idiot do-gooders.

  • @5ken7 Jesus said... let it be according to your faith so there you go...

  • @christophorM ---- at least jesus had practical & valuable things to offer with his teachings: kindness, forgiveness, love, charity, etc. the established church, however, teaches obedience to magical concepts that mean nothing to one's life & are only taught for the purpose of mind control: original sin, the divinity of christ, the death & resurrection for our sins, etc.

i often wonder what jesus the man would think of the christian faith.

  • @5ken7 your right in saying the so-called church is in a fallen state...that started really after the first church died and even worse when the romans adopted the christian faith and turned it to their own likeing....I would not (unless God wanted me to go) step foot in these american churchs/denominations and TBN is a filthy money lucre tv station...so ya got to be careful for sure.

  • Man i hope this guys wrong, how bout you?

  • Douchebag.

The more intelligent students who could debate this fucker out of town are all in class. No wonder this guy keeps coming back.

  • statesboro georgia LOL

  • What an idiot. I'm surprised he didn't get a better reaction than that at GSU of all places.. but, it's good that people like him are a dying breed.

  • It's because we're all used to him (by now hopefully).. personally I skip classes whenever he comes just to watch... he's my favorite.

  • I have so wanted to tear this guy a new one on SEVERAL occasions. BUT, tis better to let guys like this just talk and I just KEEP WALKIN...

  • EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh gosh this is bad. These young people in this video dont know about the bible.

  • I love to used to tell these idiots that I would spread the herpe and bangout sluts whenever I could. They hated it. I coulda been in this video

  • wow. People in GA think this guys is weird. I live in Hiram, GA and there's a church every half a mile. I 'm moving to Statesboro. lol

  • these are college students? they seem like a bunch of retards i'm proud to know that they are our future leaders>not.

  • Pretty sure he got attacked and then removed from campus (well asked to leave I guess.)... Lol fucking jackass needs to kill himself

  • SO APPARENTLY BEFORE GOD BECAME MAINSTREAM THERE WAS NO RIGHT OR WRONG. He is a poor man's Kirk Cameron, he can't debate religion, so why did they choose this fool. I hope I see him on campus so I can show him a list of transitional animals, and the evolution of the eye in animals (which is another religious argument, the complexity of the eye).

  • Victory for the students. This guy came to preach and these students posed questions that he should have been ready for. He said evolution has never been witnessed, well that is true because it takes thousands/millions of years to take effect. Something doesn't EVOLVE right in front of your eyes. However, the fossil of the Archaeopteryx proves transitional animals have existed... and evolution is fact.

  • Just as a general note -- I don't neccessarily believe or agree with everything in this video. However, I do believe that this kind of conversation is very important.

  • He's just trying to reach out to young kids. Ya'll are just being immature and rude. Hes taking a risk going to the campus and doing that so back off. Maybe you should rethink your beliefs.

  • yes, and he wasnt being rude by calling half of the girls that walked by whores??

  • Im not saying he's right in what hes saying. Its the fact the alot of people have a problem with him talking about God. I really don't like the way he did this at all. He doesn't know how to approach young people. But at least hes trying. Hes just doing it the completely WRONG way.

  • I hated this guy so much!... but i cant wait to hear him rant so more, maybe he can save me next time lol.

    - the guy on the bike

  • Somebody let me know when this guy is on campus again. I enjoy listening to his rants that make no sense most of the time.

  • Hey, retard, go hang out at Furman.

  • i was the guy in the black hat in this video and all i'm saying is i debate this idiot every time he comes to southern and he deserves to have his faith questioned. he's offensive and he's pushing his beliefs on people he has no knowledge of. he just calls people sluts and whores to piss them off and elicit a response from the crowd (all publicity is good publicity). he also has no argument against why atheism isn't more logical than christianity, which it is.

  • good job guy.. i was beside you for most of the time you were shooting this haha

  • This is what we call "shotgun" apologetics which is characterized by hopping around to various topics (without doing any of them any justice) and only providing sound-bytes on each one (usually just enough to upset your audience). It's a sort-of shock-jock attempt at sharing truth which always ends up confusing and upsetting the audience.

I wish there were more people willing to tackle the issues he raised, only one at a time so as to generate more light than heat. :-\

  • This guy is an idiot. He does nothing to prove his points and has nothing to use except for a book that was written by over 100 people 2000 years ago that has been translated a many number of times. God did not write the bible. It was written by people who claim god told them to write it. "Science proves that animals did not evolve." What!? You have go to be kidding me.

  • True it is a compilation of old documents by many people but when it comes down to it, if you believe that there is a God who can create every bit of the complex world that we know of, it is not very difficult to believe that his/her intended word got passed down for 2000 years successfully.Funny enough, despite the many hands these documents have gone through, there isn't a single bit of history that holds more manuscripts and outside collaboration as does the bible.

  • Yes, I have heard that many historians have clamied that parts of the Bible are indeed true. However, you can not prove to me that there was a Jesus Christ. It seems that saying he died and his body arose to the heavens is the perfect plan to get people to believe. Why is this. Well because there is no body that can be found to prove his existence! Because he supposibly rose again. I see it as a myth. Just like all of the other myths different societies and cultures have had.

  • If you want to be objective, really check out that book by Lee Strobel. The first few chapters will surprise you to how reliable the bible really is. He interviews multiple top scholars in these fields and actively tries to show reasonable doubt for not trusting the content of the bible. He fails. Remember this is a person who had your same mindset until he researched it himself.

  • I have heard of the "the case for god." I remember hearing about it a few years ago ,but forgot the name. Thanks for the info and I will look into it.

  • ugh.. I meant "The Case for Christ"

  • Which one makes more sense, that a single element of our universe perfectly synced up with the other perfect elements over millions and millions of coincidences? Or does it make more sense that an all knowing God (whose existence we cant explain either) made all of those random millions of coincidences possible? Both theories are at a brick wall on the same question, but i argue one is a lot easier to have faith in.

  • The content of the bible could hold up better in court than many of the works of history that nobody even questions, yet we put in our history books. If you are interested to see just how credible the bible is, take a look at a book called The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. He is a former courtroom reporter for the Chicago Tribune and atheist, his findings are pretty astounding.

  • Oh course it could hold up in a court when the majority of our nations judges are indeed Christian. So as for a courts opionon, I could careless. So your saying the context of the Bible has not been changed or manipulated in a course of 2000 years? I honestly can not believe that a book like this could keep it original context for that long. What about the many books that were banned from the Bible because the contredicted its context

  • I dont mean hold up in our court system, i mean that if it was hammered on every angle, every possible way that we could doubt it's inaccuracy, it would still stand firmer than most of the anicient history you take as truth everyday. Like i said, if you can believe in an omniscient God, than how hard would it be to keep your intended word over 2000 years?

  • "every possible way that we could doubt it's inaccuracy," supposed to be accuracy, not inaccuracy

  • i think it is a little hard to say something is inaccurate or not trustworthy with having no knowledge of these things yourself. Once you understand how the bible was composed and its history and the many manuscripts outside the bible, than you will understand how you can trust something that old. Remember, narrow minded thoughts are often simple answers to complex questions, and the accuracy of the bible is no simple question.

  • I do not think that it is possible for an omniscient god or gods to have ever existed. I believe that they were simply put in the place of what was unknown in the scientific world at the current time period. An example being, how the world was formed. We do not know how the world was formed, so many people simply say "god did it."

  • I do not believe there is a god because I do not believe in the supernatural. I think that for every cause there inevidably will be an effect. To say that "god created us" automaticaly brings up the question "who created god." Same rule applies to science when it comes to explaining the orgin of the universe. I just happen to find that the idea that the universe is more has always existed over the idea that god has to be logical and rational.

  • Read this book called The Cast For Christ by Lee Stroble. It will answer your question. Better yet read the bible before you judge.

  • I can't decide which is worse: this man's complete inability to address the simplest proofs against his inane rantings or the tired arguments from Christian apologetics that a Christian intelligent of the subject would present in response.

  • Nice, I didn't think about it like that.

With that being said you picked a fine ending to the video and yes, we are still searching.

I say, "Never settle" you can always improve.

  • Wow!

I'm the guy with the locs that said "like" a million times.

I wish they didn't cut this video short...they didn't even get to my question which was: "Would God punish those who are really seeking him out, but are still confused until the end?" The guy said "no" because if you were truely searching the only logical outcome would be Christianity...I still don't beileve that, but whatever...

  • That ending seemed appropriate to me, however, because you explained that you're not sure, and we're all searching to a certain extent. I liked it better, at least.

  • What's so confuzing?

Christianity is the only religion that claims to be objectively true and falsifiable. It's easy to look at the claims of Christianity and determine whether they are logically compatible with what we find in reality.

However, knowing the truth is a far cry from accepting it...

  • @xdaedal The Truth is.... Jesus christ only came to make Disciples...the disciples are not searching,...they obey the commandments of Jesus christ and believe that Jesus took their sin life. That's the only ones who God let's enter His kingdom and not lose their living souls...bottom line. The only others would be those killed or died as children but their not the disicples.
