They wanted the federal government there to deal with foreign affairs and give US citizens rights to give them control of the governments meaning state governments. What we had then was the states govern themselves based on their economy and society and the citizens control the government. States should run healthcare, education, police, roads, etc. Not the federal government.

What we had then was the states govern themselves based on their economy and society and the citizens control the government. What's wrong with the stone age, or even the times before that? When humans were in hunter-gather societies, we were most likely more peaceful and less greedy. Our close knit groups were based upon egalitarian values where greed and possessiveness were viewed as shameful. I'd much rather live in an age without industrialism and massive corporate schemes. Much of war is rooted in the entrenchment of corporations in our society. We've been taken from the Garden of Eden.

I not only sat in a University for 4 years, I also sat in an Executive MBA program in Winston Salem, NC at Wake Forest for 17 months. Most executive MBA programs are anywhere from 11-13 months. Wake's is 17. Prior to that, I studied a year in Germany south of Munich in Murnau, Oberbayern. I am a surgical rep in Cardiac Rhythm Management. I accompany Cardiologists into the Cath Lab at the hospital for pacemaker & defibrillator impants and I make over $250K/yr. Anything else?
