I couldn't stand Mizuti's voice in this video, otherwise she is the best character in the game! Sorry if I gave away the plot twist about the gender of Mizuti.
Voice acting is way better in this one kind sucks that they didnt hire the people who did these voices eventhough this is the original jap trailer but still it would have been better
I really like this game as well at first I'll say again AT first. I thought the game was going to be lame, because it had a card based theme. But 15 minutes on the demo at a local game stop i and I turned around and got the game.
I even got Part 2 of the franchise I rally liked the Music in both games and both had very unique and original story lines. I hope they make more soon.

thas weird!!!? the voices in the trailer sux , cause the game's voice overs sound way better in the game if your judging the game cause of this trailer's voice overs than don't cause they sound way better in the game..and the graphics are breathtaking!!!
think about it. The good voice actors were already bought at the time by Tales of Symphonia, FFX2 and other popular titles. This was baten kaitos' first game. so yeah. Budget i guess.
I think it just downright sucks. I've played the game, and I haven't played it in about a year because it was so boring. Tales of Symphonia, also released by Namco, was a much better game.
Yeah tales is pretty nice. But if you don't like baten kaitos you must not have gotten very far in it. Or maybe you're just not into the battle style. Its hard to get used to.

the game has a slow pacing, but really, what a great game overall, gives the good old-school feeling, while it feels new at the same time.
the script is terrific, and MAN what great music, that's not all, the graphic is so stylish, love it, love it, love it:D

If this is what their voices used to sound like, I'm glad they changed it XD I sounded like Corellia said 'Mar-pet-ro' instead of Malpercio.

Mizuti and Melodia are... different to say the least. And Xelha sounds more like a man than Gibari.
