NFL player Michael Vick is now ensnared in a dogfighting scandal. He had 30 dogs buried in his backyard. I hope that animal rights groups (not the crazy ones) call on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to suspend Vick for life.

How many does the humane society and the vets put to sleep daily? At least he buried the dogs, there is people in the world who never get buried, how about worrying about that.

Your argument holds about as much water as a thimble with a hole in it. It's illegal; lets worry about that. There is a difference between putting dogs to sleep, and having them violently rip each other apart for your amusement; lets worry about that. I had no idea that we were having a worldwide epidemic of people who were going unburied, I'll do what I can. The point is it is illegal, and inhumane, lets just worry about that.

Humane Society? I don't know their numbers, but the SPCA put down about 25% of the animals that come into their care. PETA puts down between 75-89% and the founder of PETA has admitted publicly that she's personally put down thousands that might have later been adopted.
