Wow! Talentless people must really know a lot about singing or they'd never comment on videos like this. Keep in mind that the audio recording was bad, her back-up singers were shy and she's in high school. She did it almost exactly like the movie, but I do agree that the high note was just a tad off. BUT... You can't expect there to be absolutely no variation between a young male voice and a young female voice. It was very good. Keep your head up. You can't please everyone.

Bottom line is this: Sarah McLaughlin has a ridiculous amount of talent. She's beautiful, funny AND amazing at singing. She is one of the best singers I've heard. So take your jealousy elsewhere; you're embarrassing yourselves.

What I LOVE about YouTube is that people, with absolutely no singing talent (as shown by no videos or videos of them playing the PIANO) offer singing tips and advice as if they've been in the business for years. They're masked by a computer, so they feel that they can say anything they want. I just wanted to say, to all the talentless out there, to shut up, move on with your lives, and PLEASE don't waste your time giving others advice (no one needs it from you :) ).

Excellent! Had to listen for the 7 backing singers at first, but they are there. Loved the high note at 2:27, didn't think it could be reached! Agree with almost everything "cottognapple" below says, but I thought the ending was great - perfect timing.
