I have had my 3rd generation iPod touch since August 20th of 2009 which was my birthday and I never recorded or had a scratch or scratch. Kids just do this to get new phones which are pointless cause all people do is text and I don't cause I don't really care. That is a waste of money for what you just did.

ive noticed that the 1st gen ipod is the strongest my friend dropped his 4 time on the face on the 4th drop it broke but not that bad my other friend drop his 3rdgen twice on 2cd drop his screen shattered on 4th gen i drop myne10 time 5on back3on side 2on face second face drop it crack the fourth gen me and my friend were walking he cashed his fourth gen into mine and it fell from two feet high ist drop i mean come the fuck on really it shattered every where piece of glass broke off the top wha

Actually, I really appreciate you making that video.

This gives me a fair idea what my ipod touch can and can't stand. Apparently it HATES being dropped on either face. Oddly enough it seems to survive in all the videos I have seen so long as it is dropped on an edge. The Ipad is the same way (even easier to break).

Not as worried about stepping on it anymore. Though I think I did once when charging it.

If I can ever find a broken one I will stress test with some hard/gel protectors..

the first gen ipod touch is much stronger then the 2nd and 3rd gen.

it took quite a bit to crack the screenand i have dropped mine 100 times and the screen is still fine.

some scratches but overall itis fine.

though i have seen a lot of ipod touches with shattered screens.

but not mine.

You deserve 5 stars! I would never have the audacity to drop my touch like that even if it's water damaged! It's good to know the touch's build quality is rock solid because I dropped minds from like 3 feet off the ground and got scared that internals were probably broken. All is well though. I have OCD so it gets to me when stuff like this happens and not knowing if it's broken or not. I MUST KNOW! Great video by the way :-)
