When will people stop saying that videos of St. Maarten ar fake!! This is a real airport in the caribbean. Nobody is laying on the ground in shock beacuse there is quite obviously an airport there that they would all know about. Its not as if the plane landing there is a surprise, hence the video camera was out so early. So next time before boldly proclaiming that its fake just think about it a little first.

I've seen videos from St. Maarten before and this is by far the closest shave that I've ever seen... Since the wheels touch right at the end of the runway, I'd definitely say this was an undershoot... Lucky that nobody was injured and no cars were hit.

Amazing, but I reckon that was a very near miss, not a normal landing at St Maarten. Have a look at some of the other videos on You Tube, and the planes are usually at least 30 feet up when they cross the beach. This is just conjecture, but I'd say that there's a tailwind of about 20kts, the pilot's misjudged the approach, undershot, dragged it in, and very nearly taken out the perimeter fence. Just conjecture :)

no i wasnt at that particular landing fucknuts, but i was directly underneath another 747 (just like the one that landed)and he was right on glide slope, that is what a textbook landing at St. Maarten looks like!!!
