I just want to record a simple Hip Hop song Someone please help me ASAP. It wont even record my voice. I got Studio one for christmas im a beginner! Please help.......
2.) Quit trying to convince other people (and maybe yourself) that your DAW is the best because it seems you have to give yourself reassurance that your DAW is the best by commenting on a video of ANOTHER DAW.
Have you guys seen the Windows 7 equipped StudioBLADE keyboard workstation from Music Computing? It comes with the FULL VERSION of Studio One Pro! Click the link below for videos!
From my experience, I personally think Pro Tools is one of the WORST DAWs out there. You need to spend thousands just to get a version that functions without severe track limitations. Having to spend hundreds of pounds on hardware that doesn't let you use your own recording interface and being limited to 32 tracks is an absolute joke. I'd recommend Cubase, Sonar and Logic over Pro Tools any day.
Protools is overrated. Excuse my language but you people need to get off of digidesign dick. I know it feels good but there many other options out there. I've got Ableton, Cubase and such on my computer and Studio One ranks at the top of my list for being very easy to use.
It's only rock and roll but I LIKE IT!! I still remember the days of pain in the ass recording and tape alignment, butt splicing two inch tape, and using a pencil as a transport to create a loop. Those days sucked!
hi, in the mixing console : is there a way i can make the track(s) fader boxes larger, in order to see the numbers for leveling(example: -12db, -6 db etc..) ?

Here's a simple 2 step solution. . . .
1.) Make music. . .
2.) Quit trying to convince other people (and maybe yourself) that your DAW is the best because it seems you have to give yourself reassurance that your DAW is the best by commenting on a video of ANOTHER DAW.
Have a nice day douches. . .

There's really no such thing as a "best" DAW. Whichever one the person using likes the most is going to be the "best" for that person.
A DAW is just a tool that we use to aid in making our creations. It's going to vary from one person to the next.
Use what you like the most and ignore everything else.
