    I like the steel upper vs other .22lr pistols that have (cheaper) aluminum slides. I can buy a lot of ammo or a whole reloading set for $300

  • @ntrudr800 But weight is good for a target pistol. The weight makes it feel more balanced & not top heavy. The only time you would want a light gun is if it were a carry gun. No one would carry a Mark III so it would make more sense to make it with a steel frame.

  • @Anonymous1226 I am comparing the 22/45 to my Sig SP2022, which is a polymer framed pistol.

    I bet you are comparing the Ruger to a 1911, haha!
