I was a big fan of Blakes 7 and 30 years ago I thought the crash was very convincing. Just shows what years of CGI effects can do to your perception. I still wish they'd do a new series. One problem is that the original had such quality actors
@ewaf88 What part of that SCORPIO crashing was CGI?-that crash landing on the ground plowing thru those trees in this posted video was using Scale Models like those 1960's Thunderbirds Are Go vehicle models, and like those now Classic First episodes of the Power Ranger Zaurs Vehicles, those Scale models are exspensive, but is *much STILL PREFERRED* over CGI any day
@LATEXDOLLTOMBOY Hi I think you misunderstood my post. I was not saying that the crash included any CGI - but how CGI has altered what we expect from special effects. To contemporary eyes used to high quality CGI the crash may not look very convincing. But 30 years ago it was about as good as they could do using models. I am not a big CGI fan myself and would prefer more use of finely crafted model work. Regards
@ewaf88 Thank U *SO VERY MUCH * for agreeing with me ;-B) ,Other than the 1rst Jurassic Park where those CGI Dinos *Actually looked like they were real* Every other CGI film (Especialy those MARVEL Live action CGI combined Spider-man,Incredible HULK,The X-MEN,and Fantastic Four films ALL SUCKED) thoseComputer animation pauseing errors can be spotted,if going to use CGI Correctly, use a Filtering method where some people (Like me-A*HEM!) cant pick out whats wrong with images placed in front of you
Brilliant.
