i know fully understand why ocelot says that the big shell was jst a recreation of shadow mosess the opening of this game is almost identical to that of sons of liberty with raiden. also wen u go to get peter stillmen in SOL its like getting the DARPA chief in this game. I think it has something to do with the fact that it was developed especially for gamecube with Shinguru Miyamoto's involvement.

There's probably some messy copyright issues involved that prevents it from being ported or updated for anything other than a Nintendo console.

also question: if the "DARPA chief" snake meets in the cell was really just one of decoy octopus' impersonations, then why would the real donald anderson's nanomachine gps transmitter show up on snakes radar? are we to believe that octopus can mimick nanomachines or that they somehow removed the nanos from the real DARPA chief and re-implanted them into octopus?

@VanitasSentiment13 I love the actors' voices, but they re-recorded a lot of stuff. Just saying I wish they'd bumped up the graphics but kept the original voice audio. They cut out a couple of cool sequences in the game, too (like the helicopter fight with Liquid, fighting your way up the tower, etc.) I LOVE the remake, but my nostalgic side won't let some stuff go, haha.

-Solid was the Master of the weapons, and stealth, but wasn't master at CQC, he knew it, but he wasen't good as Liquid..

-Liquid was the Master of CQC, and tactics, but he mostly relied on attack weapon systems (Like REX, and the Hind-D) and automatic weapons, as he lacked in Solid's skills.

@PBPproductions1 Technically, he used RAY in the Tanker in MGS2 as well, when he controlled Ocelot. He let Ocelot control the body when he exited the ruined Tanker, and in the end, atop the Arsenal Gear.

As for Solidus, he was the Perfect clone of Big Boss himself, as stated in MGS4, when the REAL Big Boss is shown, and killed in either Act 3, or 4. As for weapons, he does have Big Boss' skills, but he used the Robo-Tentacles, and two Katanas, as shown in the final battle of MGS2.
