  • Convicted felon's don't play MLB.

  • people who dont like barry bonds are the one who use steroids

  • he was the best player of the steroid ersa for sure and i dont care if he did steriods

  • Barry is a top 20 all time player, and THE BEST player in the steroid era. Yes he cheated, but Bud Selig promoted and did NOTHING to stop a league were one was forced to cheat in order to compete.

  • right on the money....lots of teams wanted him...lol

  • He should play..because arod was caught nd hes playin nd manny 2 so..!!

  • ...

  • The only dangerous thing about Bonds now is the poisonous attitude that he'll bring to a clubhouse. Can you imagine how many rings that man would've won had he been a team player?

  • i really hope the giants sign him.

  • if he play's, it will be for an american league team that could really use a left handed power hitter in the middle of the line up. He'll probably come to the mairners or the blue jays.

  • He's a prick

  • @vicm00 and.......... YOUR A LITTLE SHIT

  • Let's hope not.

  • go giants! go!

  • The Giants will sign him in the midseason.

  • christ i hope so. we have NO bats.

  • IF Bonds gets picked up, and that's a big IF, then it will with a team that needs a DH. It will be a team that is contending for the pennant. Otherwise, it will be a big waste of time! Get real.

  • He may be on field liability, but he's said repeatedly he doesn't want to be only a hired gun with no on-field time. I respect that kind of old school mentality because the DH is still plain old sacrelige. I'd live with him playing left if he can put runs on the board.

  • Fair enough...you may be right. I have my thoughts about the DH as well..but for him and limitations, it would just seem to give him the potential to last a bit longer.

He can still hit...but playing in the outfield significantly increases his chances for injury. We'll see though...lots of time this baseball season for it to get interesting.

  • barry still can play, but in AL as a DH

  • And his dealer.
