Wow, your Chinese writting is very impressive! Especially with brush, it's very difficult to write. But I have to say you did a very good job! And the stamp is very professional. Did you buy it in China? Overall I love the whole painting. But if you can make the color more contrasting, that is, make the dark sides darker, it'll be even better. Well done! Keep the good work! :)
hi! thanks again for your comments, I was missing them, and missing you of course. Yes, the seal was made in China, a friend of mine brought it to me :) I will try to add more contrasts next time. It was the first time I used ink stick, and I think it was not as dark as my liquid ink. How are your paintings going? I have not painted much lately, I still have 2 weeks more of hard work, and I hope to paint a lot later!
Now I see why, yes, the ink stick is not easily used as the liquid. But you can combine them, put a bit of liquid ink into the stone plate, and then use the ink stick. It has the benefit of both. I hope to see more of your new works later. You're a very productive artist, you put me to shame 'coz I've been so lazy! :p Good luck! xoxo
I like your distant background which reminds me of master painters.
