@rtds9fan neck is actually called talking out the side of your neck. its just kinda a common songs for marching bands to do covers of. lsu's band started playing it in 2007 then it got banned for a while because our student section came up with lovely lyrics haha. they've been playing it a lot lately and everyone goes crazy because its so much fun!!
@rtds9fan its a song that originally came from HBCU's, notably the popular ones, grambling and southern. With them being from louisiana as well, LSU was more likely to be influenced. Now more and more major colleges are playing it!

And lastly the fans aren't packing the stadium to see LSU marching band they are there to see the football game, unlike my school Jackson State University, fans pack the stadium just to see the band perform!!!

USC lost to UW this season. UW has 5 loses. One of those was to Notre Dame who USC barely beat two weeks ago. Now, LSU played Washington in Seattle, just like USC, and won. I was at the USC-LSU game in 1979, and I will tell you, USC did not crush LSU. LSU had that game won, led most of the game, and USC got a lucky break when an official missed a false start on SC and got a free first down on a facemask call on the very same play.
Also, let me ask you. Is seeing these big time national games in the regular season something you don't want? If your as big a fan of college ball as you claim then the answer should be yes. As a USC fan, theres nothing I hate more than having to be tied to the Big 11 and I hate (like most SC fans do) that our president sided with the Big 11's prez to not have a playoff. I'll tell you why there aren't more SEC vs USC games. Because the AD's don't want that due to the recruiting competition and too much importance put on winning. USC doesn't want LSU coming to LA Coliseum and beating the Trojans in their house. They would risk losing recruits to LSU. Also, LSU would rather not go to LA and risk losing and lose a chance at the National Championship. The reverse of this is all true too. This is according LSU's former AD.
There is no recruiting competition for USC in California, Pete Carroll essentially has our state locked down for the Pac 10, its not like the old days when Nebraska and Notre Dame would come in and cherry pick our stars like they do in Texas. Also when was the last time LSU stole a 5 star recruit from USC? Its going to take you a bit of research to find that one out. However getting Joe McKnight who grew up close to LSU was a clear victory for us. USC doesn't worry about losing recruits.
John David Booty, also was a great example of USC dominating the national recruiting scene. Granted your argument that both ADs from both respective teams want nothing to do with each other is interesting, it isn't true. Mike Garrett has repeatedly stated his team will go anywhere, play anyone. That includes LSU who has a big target on its back after that billboard incident. I'm not discussing LSU, USC or Nebraska. I'm talking about why it's hard to schedule out of conference games with top teams from different conferences. According to the AD at LSU, it comes down to finances, recruiting issues and the pressure to win a national championship (especially for Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, etc.) Also, USC plays a round-robin schedule in the PAC10. They don't have many open slots for out-of-conference games. I'll post a link.

@rtds9fan neck is actually called talking out the side of your neck. its just kinda a common songs for marching bands to do covers of. lsu's band started playing it in 2007 then it got banned for a while because our student section came up with lovely lyrics haha. they've been playing it a lot lately and everyone goes crazy because its so much fun!!

And lastly the fans aren't packing the stadium to see LSU marching band they are there to see the football game, unlike my school Jackson State University, fans pack the stadium just to see the band perform!!!

USC lost to UW this season. UW has 5 loses. One of those was to Notre Dame who USC barely beat two weeks ago. Now, LSU played Washington in Seattle, just like USC, and won. As a USC fan, theres nothing I hate more than having to be tied to the Big 11 and I hate (like most SC fans do) that our president sided with the Big 11's prez to not have a playoff. Its cowardly and drags USC into a bad light. USC is one of the few teams that could do an SEC schedule and be a serious threat, if you don't realize that, then you don't know football. I'll tell you why there aren't more SEC vs USC games. Because the AD's don't want that due to the recruiting competition and too much importance put on winning. USC doesn't want LSU coming to LA Coliseum and beating the Trojans in their house. They would risk losing recruits to LSU. Also, LSU would rather not go to LA and risk losing and lose a chance at the National Championship. The reverse of this is all true too. This is according LSU's former AD.

There is no recruiting competition for USC in California, Pete Carroll essentially has our state locked down for the Pac 10, its not like the old days when Nebraska and Notre Dame would come in and cherry pick our stars like they do in Texas. Also when was the last time LSU stole a 5 star recruit from USC? Its going to take you a bit of research to find that one out. However getting Joe McKnight who grew up close to LSU was a clear victory for us. USC doesn't worry about losing recruits.

Granted your argument that both ADs from both respective teams want nothing to do with each other is interesting, it isn't true. Mike Garrett has repeatedly stated his team will go anywhere, play anyone. That includes LSU who has a big target on its back after that billboard incident. This isn't about USC and LSU. LSU used to schedule Nebraska every year. That will not likely happen again. Why? Because LSU doesn't want Nebraska coming to Baton Rouge, winning the game, and taking recruits from Louisiana. Nebraska doesn't want to come to Tiger Stadium and risk losing out at a national championship. The other way around is true also. So swallow your spoiled ego. BTW, Booty is nothing to brag about. LSU had his brother at QB and is not well regarded. McKnight is a bust so far.

I'm not discussing LSU, USC or Nebraska. I'm talking about why it's hard to schedule out of conference games with top teams from different conferences. According to the AD at LSU, it comes down to finances, recruiting issues and the pressure to win a national championship (especially for Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, etc.) Also, USC plays a round-robin schedule in the PAC10. They don't have many open slots for out-of-conference games. I'll post a link.

Auburn tied Wisconsin 7-7 in 1931 in Wisconsin, Tennessee beat Iowa 23-22 in New Jersey in 1987, im counting it as Big 10 territory since you count all the bowls as being in SEC territory, except for LSU UGA's and Florida's last trips to the Big 10 ended in wins, and i might add that OSU barely beat LSU in Columbus 36-33, check your facts before you make stupid comments

Ohio State and Michigan have been playing for 105 years. So that trip to Madison took place before the sec even existed, lol.

You really don't get it. The Big 10 is a much more difficult schedule. We are better football players. We are the only that dominate the NFL while the sec players either:
A) Don't play football after college
B) Play in the AFL
C) Warm the bench and hold the jock strap of there Big 20 teammates
D) Play special teams in the NFL

A football game is like the Iraq war. Ohio State (military) expects the enemy to fight fair. If they can beat them fair and square in the way war should be fought, the terrorist stand no chance.
