  • I saw Les in 1972 at the Twin Flame in Tucson Az. He was at the club for 6 nights and my friends and I saw him on the last night and the club was packed wall to wall. It was that way every night. It was a great show.

  • I first heard this song in 1968 or so. I loved it then and it still does something to me today. It is the perfict protest song. I listened to it so much I had all the verses memorized by heart. Thank you. Love your show.

  • I was lucky enough to see Les in Houston at the late La Bastille club in about '72. It sounded just like this, and what a great venue, in the basement of the oldest building in Houston.

  • I have the vinyl.  Holler if you saw them at Pauls Mall or was it the Jazz Workshop in Boston in the mid 70s!

  • The album this is from was what my dad introduced me to jazz with. Still my favorite jazz track of all time.

    e been keeping this vinyl record (original silver cover) since the 70s. We danced to it like crazy in the old german jazzlub Cave 54 in Heidelberg Germany.
