I saw Les in 1972 at the Twin Flame in Tucson Az. He was at the club for 6 nights and my friends and I saw him on the last night and the club was packed wall to wall. It was that way every night. It was a great show.
I first heard this song in 1968 or so. I loved it then and it still does something to me today. It is the perfict protest song. I listened to it so much I had all the verses memorized by heart. Thank you. Love your show.
I was lucky enough to see Les in Houston at the late La Bastille club in about '72. It sounded just like this, and what a great venue, in the basement of the oldest building in Houston.
also my dad turn me on to this in late 60s early 70.... got me playin sax lol.... now i play guitar and keys..... THANK YOU EDDIE FOR GETTIN ME STARTED IN MUSIC FOREVER GRATEFUL.........../
e been keeping this vinyl record (original silver cover) since the 70s. We danced to it like crazy in the old german jazzlub Cave 54 in Heidelberg Germany.
Used to listen to this with my best friend..... over and over again. Then we would walk around singin it all night long. What a jam and what a song.

@DooderMcAltair I am surprised not to see Illusionary Dreams or Set Us Free on YouTube; I believe those are his greatest works.
