hi mate. heres an idea 4u. remove the housings of the speakers, and they will then fit in the nose fairing. that keeps clean lines on bike, and keeps less external parts on the outside, that in the event of an accident, might be dangerous. ride safe bro. defensive riding all the time.

i have gsxr 750.. its a good idea but it doesnt look right hanging off the fairings like that not very aerodynamic for a sport bike... but if u can find a low profile speaker set up and hide them it would be great.. or just get the oakly glasses that hook up to bluetooth and get music that way.. or get a bluetooth helmet... that way you dont have to worry about a bunch of wires haining around your bike... whatever u do though just try and make it look clean!!...

I've rigged up a similar system on my 07 gsxr but after sometime my charging system (rectifier and stator) failed prematurely ): My sound system had a very small amplifer that I guess was too much for the bike to handle....I just replaced the RR and Stator and 2 months L8R it happens again...GAY well now Im gonna tear out my neatly installed system and say fuck it.... any ides.... write back

You are missing the point. When you drive a long drive on the highway you easily get bored and loose conentration. I would drive slower and not accelerate just to get a kick to get my focus back on the driving. The good thing about speakers it that you still hear cars, horn, sirens engine malfuntion ect you probalby dont hear that when you have headphones. Indeed. Using headphones to listen to music prevents you from hearing sirens from police cars trying to pass you and prevents you from hearing car horns or screeching tires. By having them outside like I do that allows me to hear EVERYTHING incuding the music and ambient noises.

Great Idea. But you should try to make the wires more hidden. Run it under the gas tank and through the seat up into the rear. Maybe mount the speakers under the tail in the replace of your rear pegs or behind them. And as far as the power switch you should just toss it in your trunk. I know your amp is in there buy you can do something. Oh and run the audio cable connecting to your mp3 player through the triple tree hole. That is the way I I have seen it done a lot.
