I do so love Simple Minds. Their music is just so amazing but I must say that I did like the 80's clothes and styles. Way better than todays styles with pants hanging off the butt so the undies hang out, severely baggy ass pants, hoodies everywhere, bling bling. In my opinion , everybody wants to look the same today. I find that boring. At least in the 80's , there was a mixture of styles not the same ol' thing. 80's forever!!

back then all they had was vhs tapes (no computers/software) and editing was a very time consuming expensive process..a lot of clips were a 1 chance edit. sometime you will see dodgy edits and mistakes :)

and at the time his clothes would have been so avant garde.....give it a few more years and some wanker will "discover" this as the latest fashion...i did have some pretty cool stuff back then as well . it was the best time to be clubbing and it was all new back then :) m48
