  • @menacinghat what u on about? silly racist dole dosser

  • @WokOne171

i am nost racist. I am simply saying that england is under colonisation. It is not racist to say that(and truthly) all major towns in england such as london and birmingham resemble pakistan.

  • @menacinghat Karma is a bitch aint it.

  • @Chastrie

people now aren't responsible. By the end of the empire the british were really concerned with the concerns of the colonies. The Americans are the ones falling from the lime light now. China step up.

  • @menacinghat Amen to that.

  • i love this video.

  • its cornelius fudge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great clip! Suggested Video: Weird drive in moment Thank You

  • What is the Reason for their entrapment? Why are they between Heaven and Hell?

  • i also love this kind of documentary too. England has an aging history and that it always mysterious, something very secretive that once it comes to light, it never fails to shock people, probably due to the english being reserved on the outside but who knows.......

  • ever notice all the paintings of the men back then make them look like noodle armed weaklings? There had to of been at least one decently built fellow back then that didn't need help lifting a feather....

  • that thomas has some silly clothes on in that painting....

  • this is great, I love this types of documentary, I wish I could somehow get ahold of all of Earth's skeptics and stuff all of them in these castles and just enclose them for a year of two and see the psychological state they come out, that's IF they manage to come out >:)

  • @tmbttes Check out Chillington Castle on youtube. It's in northern England, it's a terrifying place it was used to imprison the Scots, in the 13th century, when they were fighting the English. thousands were tortured in the dungeons, eyes gorged out then murdered, and their bodies dumped in the lake in the castle grounds. The scariest place on earth!

  • This is so awesome!

  • i love watching these types of programmes but i hate when they play the creepy suspicious music.... scares the crap outta me

  • " To this day the bowl remains unbroken", CLUNCK SMASH " FUCK"

  • i've been to west wycombe(relatives there)

  • england is now pakistan jr

    r.ip england

    died 1990

  • @thizzkid100 Nah China and the major EU are more powerful economically and militarily.

  • i believe.

  • What a beautiful country than Ireland ....

  • love this kinds of things.

theres nothing like a true ghost story.

so l guess there is lifes after death.

the same way as there is after brith life, there is life out side our mothers womb.

    who would of guessed?

  • Do you believe in ghosts? Yes, sir.

  • This is sooooooo cool

  • There's something cool about old british people. Like Niles the buttler.

  • Glorious history followed by a phrase about centuries of bloodshed... right.

  • I sat by myself in the haunted room in this castle for about 30mins a few yrs back but experienced nothing special. I found the paintings in the castle more disturbing that the folklore...I'd sleep in the bed in the haunted room if allowed....anyone listening?

  • @P5YCHIATRIST You scare me more than your mom does.

  • Why these ghosts haunting people in the 21st century. Suppose they've got nothing better to do.

  • @Biscom

seriously? You don't know anything about ghosts do u? lol

  • @Biscom they're jealous because we have facebook and they dont >:D

  • @Biscom and you're here because?! DON'T comment on something YOU have no inclination about!!

  • Is there a script? How could I get it? Just for teaching purpose!

  • Is there a script? How could I get it? Just for teaching purpose!

  • ol of 'd pip0l lived in the palace or castle..are from a royal family..they're blood are of 'd most RARE type of blood called'' royal blood''. Royale Blood is different from any other blood and/or ethnicity..

  • i've wanted to find this forever..they used to play this on the history channel..if its the one i think it is....it gave me scared me and gave me bad dreams as a child....

  • I don't know how anyone can be an atheist with the existence of ghosts...i'm sorry, some atheists may totally disagree with me, but with som many thousands/millions of people who have seen ghosts throughout the world throughout history, how can they all be lying or just "seeing things"?? I don't believe that logic helps proove their case when you really think about that...

  • @Claronium780 You really have to wonder just how legit these shows like Most Haunted are. How do we know that they aren't scripted?

  • @Claronium780 if there is a heaven or hell, why is it that there are soo many spirits are still wandering around in our world? i think it has nothing to do with religion.

  • @alexisabove p.s i know that catholics believe in limbo, but i just dont think it has to do with religion.

  • @alexisabove that is actually an outdated theory

  • @alexisabove I'd say belief in ghosts is partly to do with religion and partly to do with human psychology and desires. Christianity is largely in decline in Europe but people don't want to completly reject the idea of life after death, and so spiriturality and belief in ghosts fills a void of human need.

  • @Claronium780 i know you probably dont remember writin your post with it being 5 month ago lol. im an atheist but i belive in ghosts/spirits there has to be some science to explain the phenomenon (dunno how to spell it lol) i belive it has something to do with electromagnetism or residual positive/negative energies. in my head i know what im sayin but im terrible at puttin my point across lol.

  • @cannibalcheese yh ive had alot of experiances in my house over the last year and i dont no wat the hell it all means

  • "The bowl remains unbroken."

    SMASH!

  • @scorpianofthesun LOL I was just thinking that literally right before I saw your comment ! That would've been so funny if he said "The family still owns the house and the bowl remains unbroken, until now"! And then he suddenly smashed the bowl on the ground ! lol

  • @scorpianofthesun

That's what I was thinking! XD "The bowl still remains unbroken-SMASH!-Oh dear....ahem....did remain unbroken."

  • @scorpianofthesun if only, and how about that Tom Thumb....What a piece of work he was, Glad he got his just desserts!!!!

  • The British must love their ghosts because they give them so many names.

  • I read somew here that this is so...and even moreso with the irish.

  • Not just ghosts but also faeries, on one documentary called "The Faerie Faith" (I think that is the name of the movie) they refused to let a road be built near a certain tree because they believe they occupied the tree.

  • Well...that is interesting! TruthfullyI think it is great that they prevailed! No busy road!

  • i know another storie about The queen Mary ship in long beach,California the queen Mary was once a celebrated luxury ocean liner. In 1967 it ended it's sailing days and was purchased by the city long beach and transformed into a hotel. the most haunted area is the engine room where a 17-year-old sailor was crushed to death. There have been numerous reports of knocking and banging on the pipes around the door. The ship's pool is said to be haunted by ghosts of children true storey that is

  • robert hardy is top class as an actor and presenter

  • yes. I first saw him as "Siegfried Farnon" when I was a child and loved him- and still do. He is really great!

  • He's also an expert on the long bow and has written a book on the weapon, so he is also a historian.

  • I have the book!

  • So this "scientific investigation" felt, saw, and heard all these things...but recorded none of them?

    hmmm

  • OMG I love this documentary, thank you for posting!

  • i love all of your videos, they really fascinate me :)

  • i want to visit England so bad :D im mainly englsh and i actually believe in ghosts....ive seen them ever since i was about 7 or 8 :o

  • I dont really see them but I can sense if someones watching me regardless if Im alone in a room or not. I also work in a place supposedly haunted and I've heard things that make me go "hm, theres something here"

  • Have you see a ghost when you was 7/8 years old?

  • @KonanlovesPein4ever ive heard of a ghost on shrewsbury castle the wasa man who owned the castle and had seven wives howwever everyone of them dissapeared some people came to look around his room they looked in a draw and found seven sets of finger and seven sets of toes.the man was beheaded the interesting thing is when some people sometimes go into the castle they hear a sword or an axe sooring through the air and then something rolling a cross the floor interesting it was his beheading

  • i keep seeing shadowy figures racing down the hall in my perefial vision when im at home. even though i know no one else is in the house except me.

  • 3:21 there is a face image on the right side of the castle wall, under the middle dark markings..

  • it is actually an arch on the wall but it seems like a face

  • What I really like about England is all the history it has there still. Castles, Stonehenge, the Chalk Horse, etc. I am American, but I do think England has one of the richest histories and I love learning about it

  • Hi Goddess167989. It`s not just England. Many parts of the world have long and fascinating histories. I do love ancient European history, in particular. But all countries have a history of one sort or another.

I remember being in Spain in `89 and been shown a library that builders had found behind a wall in Valladolid. Our guide took one of the books, opened it and showed us the scribblings of one of the members of the Spanish Inquisition. History before my eyes !

  • @Goddess167989 ........i agree.....i cant get enough of the history of England, so rich in interesting people and stories of violence, greed, betrayal, love....the architecture of the tudor times.....awesome. Hope to be able to go there someday.

  • @Goddess167989

That's what I like about it too! England still has a rustic charm, that is rare in the world now-a-days. :)

  • @Goddess167989 Your possible the 1st American ive heard say that! :O

  • @brfc1993 I really do think the history is beautiful, there is a lot of mystery and wonder around it. That's what makes it so rich and intriguing! :)

  • @Goddess167989 same deal with me

  • @Goddess167989 What about Scotland and Wales?

  • shut yo boring ass up

  • I once was in Calke Abbey and I felt something touch my shoulder - I thought it was my dad but he was in another room

What do you make of that?

  • Ooo, yay, Robert Hardy narrating! Such a distinctive voice.

    Thanks for posting !

  • I love your channel. Thanks for posting all of these shows so that Americans can see them.

  • its not just for americans

  • looks great :)

  • they are prolly more active at night because the noise of everyday life is then silenced as most go to sleep. id love to see if someone would do a worldwide study to see how many more sightings of ghosts occur in rural vs the urban and not just the urban but those cities that never sleep.

  • omg!!izz thizz real??if it iss dat izz weird!

  • I love this series. Thanks to your posting this, I found out a DVD had been released and I bought it.

  • OH DUDE YOU ROCK. I remember this series when I was a child.

  • Why are ghosts most active during night? We know they are during the day as well, but activity in most cases seem to be on it's most during the night.

  • there's a lot of Tudor ghosts aren't there

  • there were only about 6million in the UK then .. maybe people were more intensely alive or something so they were up for a good haunting when they passed over. With 60 million of us and most of us watching tv all the time i doubt we will be up to disturbing anyone in the afterlife!!

  • I believe in ghosts but I'm not scared of them. If I could see Anne Boleyn's ghost, my little life would be complete

  • london is scary cityyyyyyyyy

  • Clowns subjected to suspiscion when some mass murderers were disguising themselves as clowns at childrens birthday parties in the U.S.A. How then do we as a people remember a circus or carnival when there was a time that meant a "Clown" to be a SILLY, or perhaps purposely silly CHARACTER. I guess we can never ever go back as a society?

  • The lady with the big eyes gave me goosebumps.

  • Well done Video!

  • Me and my sister saw a lady standing in front of our door when we were kids also... i got the chills when he said that.

  • i have this movie, it's awesome

  • very interesting i think ghosts are interesting

  • Tom Skelton gives me the creeps!

  • Tom Skelton is a douche

  • Robert Hardy=<3

  • I don't believe in ghosts. Some people say that if you maintain an open mind, you can see them. But i've been to many places that are supposedly haunted and have never seen anything.

  • Can you see radio waves, sound waves and so on? They still exist....

  • OOOH A GLASS BOWL

  • quite a lot is wrong with ireland people from abusive childrens homes like me are still being abused by the state, i have seen chinese and poles abused in the street, i had to help a muslin girl who's hijab was pulled off by a group of lads

everything is deliberatly overpriced by the government i'v been to european countries people are friendlly , it's clean, efficent, everything runs on time, ireland just isn't like that

  • And you think all that only happens in Ireland?? I agree with the price and government point, but everything else you said happens everywhere in the world too. Believe me racism isn't just in Ireland!

  • @MultiMeli123 Well thumbs up for this, Yankee!

  • @EnglishZombie Not too cool once you go into cardiac arrest :P

  • @EnglishZombie Same here, I would love to live at the Tower of London or any other Medieval haunted castle.

  • Ah, this was an excellent show! Loved every minute of it. wish I could go to England and investigate the castles...I'd meet up with you and we'll go together.

  • I saw this on television, years ago.

Ever since then I have been interested in the bio of Thomas Skelton.

  • I live near there, 15 miles, I must visit

  • You should take a camera with you and stay the night lol.

  • over here in canada alot of people do belive in ghost but must of then belive when you die there nothing

  • There are about 5 ghosts in my home. The one I see the most is the ghost of my Great grandmother Maude. Our house was also built on the sight of a house that burned down in the 1800s a teenage girl died in that fire and I've seen and heard her in the attic.

  • I don't believe in ghosts (don't judge me) but for some reason i'm intrested in paranormal things. If a ghost would live in my house i would just run and run and run ^^

  • Niiice! thanks for all ur vids!

  • i love ghost documentaries, i used to watch castle ghosts on discovery all the time, wish theyd bring it back and make new seasons!
