@HOTEG6 we r busy building a 16v turbo setup in a 2 door, will post as soon as it is ready. 4 door mk1's r still fine for me as long as they r old school. I will check out u'r video mate. Ta
engine looks great, but it just doesent look as fast as i would have thought it would be. do you have any boost leaks? what kinda boost is it actually runnning? nice golf though, deffinately has potential
@erixtar1992 It was not built to be fast, if u want fast we can build u a 250kw daily driver. There r no boost leaks, the car is running on about 0.4bar boost. Thank u for the compliment.
@jerseyboynaz the fuel economy depends on the way the car is driven, if u drive it as a full throttle car then the consumption is not so grand, however the boost characteristics allow the car to be driven as u would drive any commuter car and the consumption hovers around 11km/L. The injectors are close to 300cc, we use the standard stuff and drill them out bigger.
Hey man ... you got my thumbs up for your setup - yes more work can be done but its work in progress and its where all the big guys start. Its wierd but SA is full of crap talking, back biting, intimidated idiots who know better to talk a guy down than to give him a bit of advice and encouragement. Keep at at it, there will always be a following for honest workmanship even it it can be cheaper. Only a fool would conclude that all power means all faster... good luck
I had these guys Turbo charge my 1.8 8v Mk1. Damn I have never seen such a neat install and by the way I just fcked up an Audi Rs4 from 100km - 210km :). Good work guys on the turbo conversion. My m3 e46 all of a suddent feels a bit slugish.
@kewloperator I'm glad to see that you r njoying, apologies for the delays experienced. Your 1.8 is a remarkable car because it makes more than 20fwkw than my 2.0l. We would like to put your machine up on this site as a showcase. We are here at your beck & call.
@840416roy sorry to p u off mate, however I am of the opinion that u can only start making rules in a game when u start playing. and u'r making assumptions about SA tuners? who r u referring 2?
what king guys is anyone running there car at the Mthuba drags this weekend end let me know and i will be posting a 275kw turbo golf mk1 very soon i will upload the link for your guys to see and by the way we will be setting up a 2l 8v turbo like the one u uploaded and i wanna see waht it does on the dyno but he internals is changed and the a mitsubishi tdo6 turbo with a changed exhaust housing too this will be a first time conversion that we are doing a 2l 8v we mostly do 2l 16vbut we wil see
@djfunkyv there are many setups available depending on what u hope to achieve, wish u all the luck with u'r racing & the turbo 8v as well. we supply turbo chargers for custom applications if u r interested. we have a distributor in DBN.
Reza, finally I can post here. The BBM kit that WAS in the Jetta was imported for just over 18K way back. That was the landed cost including customs duties, shipping etc.
It made 147kW on 1 Bar boost and now with the turbo kit, it sits at 180kW ATW @ 1Bar on a known stingy dyno. At 0,4Bar, it makes around 130kW ATW and at 0.8, 150 odd kW.
I have met literally hundreds of people when I used to buy from GW in Centurion and I may have met you before, but I do not remember you.
I used to be a part-time DJ, yes, and I never stayed in Centurion. I purely went to GW there as it was the closest one to my place.
And my Jetta's current turbo set-up is all fitted DIY style by me at my house, the only things I did not do was weld the downpipe and the tuning, the rest was all done by my hands.
@Jetta2L8VTurbo gr8 to see that u'r on, I remember the meeting vividly, @ that stage I was driving a 2.0l 16v turbo jumbo, and u did tell me that the job was done at home. i never once dissed u mate & I think that what u did was awesome. we have put together a solution that is easily accessible, affordable & reliable & it obviously has made people take notice. I find this form of advertising interesting to say the least. Keep boosting
Dude, I got to be honest with you. Having seen your video, and laughed a little bit at your expense, I really do not think you are doing anyone a favour with your budget kit. From what it seems in your video, it could not pull the skin off custard, seems to leak boost like a flatulent cow, and fails to address some pretty solid fundamentals about boosting 8v motors.
Anyone swallowing your sale is in for some serious disappointment. And the oil light, whats up with that?
@6potpig mate, I have no issues with u'r opinion, u r entitled to one. enlighten me on the fundamentals of boosting 8v motors? Have u turbocharged any motors recently?
Ryan, we r trying 2 give enthusiasts the option to upgrade at a 1 stop shop & not everyone has the same knowledge of motors & turbo charging that u have, u obviously have done the research necessary to get u'r setup exactly where u want it. we r trying to save consumers time & effort.
To answer your questions about Supercharger reliability. There is a guy in the VW club who's been running a 2L 8V on a G60 supercharger for the last 6-8 years... Car is still running, with the suprcharger to this day, with out a problem.
He makes loads more power than your 2L 8V Turbo. I bet if he turned his boost level down to 0.4, he'd still out perform your 2L 8V Turbo.
@exdohctor why don't u ask him to turn the boost down and take the car to KAR, no point in assuming right? G60 is standard VW, reliable, how much does the BBM kit cost? How much does a G60 setup cost? Is it readily available?
@rezarayman You can walk into Japan Auto Trading and buy a complete G60 motor for R9000 right now, So to answer your question... R9000, and yes, they are readily available.
The BBM supercharger kit, which comes complete with everything you need to install it can be imported for around R18 - R20 000, if I remember correctly.
Again, both options, cheaper and more powerful than yours.
@exdohctor $3500 equates to more or less R25k @ current $/ZAR xchange rates. JAT has 1 left @ R9500 spoke to Abie, he said it is very rare, so unless you import the motors YOURSELF I think that YOU have made a boo boo again by stating facts that YOU have thumb sucked and YOU are clearly someone that njoys throwing around names, figures & solutions that YOU don't have a complete understanding of. I suggest that YOU stop making claims on behalf of other people & start doing things 4 yourself.
@rezarayman wahahaha, you're a fine one to talk about throwing names around, especially when those people say that they don't know who you are. I was on the VW Club committee for 4 years chum. Between the two of us, I am the only one stating correct facts. I've been through the whole process, from 1600 carb to 2E on PRS management and then preparing to go 2E on MP9. You on the other hand can't even answer basic technical questions about the "work" you claim to do.
@exdohctor the $3500 for the BBM kit excludes shipping as well. In my experience the cost of shipping & VAT will take the price of the kit to almost R30k (or more)? Have you shipped and installed one of these yourself? How do you know that it is as easy to fit as everyone says? or do you believe everything you hear? does the kit work on a motor that has been worked on previously? What type of Management System does the BBM kit use? Who tunes it?
@rezarayman Ryan imported the kit for less than 25k, he ran it on his Jetta's 1800 Motor on Go-Tech, he installed and tuned it himself :P I don't need to listen to "hear say" when I know the people I am talking about on a personal level. What's the matter Reza? I am only pointing out the spurious mistakes I've been able to pick up from your video. There is a reason people are saying you give tuners a bad name, have you worked it out yet?I am not the only one who's noticed these mistakes either
@exdohctor in which year did he import the kit? u'r facts are incomplete mate & the fact that u were on the VW Club committee does not make u an expert on anything or does it? People like you hide behind pseudonyms and criticise everything, I am aware of forums that have dissed us, there r just as many smart people out there that bother 2 call 2 find out details. did u know Ryan was a DJ? Frankly we don't take haters seriously, when u find out who we actually r then u might hate us even more.
will u teach me or u going to get someone else to do it. which car made the most power on the last VW club dyno day at KAR? I asked u if Ryan was a DJ previously? does he or did he live in Centurion? Ryan may not b my buddy but I have seen his car with the BBM setup in it. Just like I have my car on youtube, I don't lie mate.
I can tell all of that because I know what I am talking about, especially when it comes to the 2E motor. The fuel rail, inlet manifold and tappet cover were a dead give away.
So now you openly admit that this is not a stock standard 2E... rather a 2E/ADY hybrid. With this in mind... how can we trust the power figures you boast about?
Honestly Reza, the "average man on the street" would be better off spending their 22k elsewhere... you can also get much better bolt on turbo kits for less.
@exdohctor what is the difference between an ADY and 2E engine? They are both 2.0l long block engines, aren't they? the compression ration on both motors are exactly the same isn't it? the only visible difference is the way they look, correct? The bore & stroke is exactly the same! the ADY motor comes with a knock sensor and in some l8r engines, a 60-2 trigger. Who do you know that can turbo charge a car for you for R22k? Where would I find the kit for LESS?
@rezarayman 2E's ran on Digifant, ADY on Motronic. 2E's needed a seperate idle stabilization valve while ADY's have built in idle motors. Both use a knock sensor btw. There are lots of differences between the two motors, functionally, not just how they look. If you expect to be taken seriously... there are some things we expect you to know... For 22K one can import a BBM supercharger kit, fit that to a 2E and make more power at the same boost... loads more power.
@exdohctor we use Diktator on both types of engines and it gives them the exact same characteristics ultimately, the MAP sensor in the Diktator box allows us flexibility and provided that there is no aircon on the setup there is no need to include an idle stabiliser valve. Fortunately we turbo the setup once we have the motor installed & wired up, so the look and spec of the motor isn't important. there are some guys that have used BBM, unreliable? inflexible? this is from the guys that have it.
@rezarayman It was me who had the BBM supercharger kit. The only reason I changed to turbo was the fact that the Lysholm supercharger decided to have a bearing for lunch and spares for them are next to non-existant to get hold of. At 1Bar boost, the 'charger kit produced 147kW and 260 odd Nm at the wheels in Jhb at KAR. Turbo, same boost level, same motor, 179,3kW and 301Nm
And at around 0,8Bar boost, my current set-up makes 210-215Hp ATW. All DIY'd by me at home - on behalf of Ryan Demozer.
@exdohctor the turbo conversion can make power as you wish and spares are very readily available. you have to admit that bang for your buck turbo is a better option. what does a new supercharger cost?
@rezarayman Best bang for buck? You're 2L turbo makes less power than a stock standard 2L 16v ABF... If I had 22K to spend, I'd go for the 16v ABF. I'd still have around 12k to spend on things like cams and exhaust, best of all... I'd still make more power than your Turbo 2L... and still have money left over to spare...
@exdohctor so u have done an ABF conversion before? what car did u fit it in2? have u considered management? exhaust branches? Fitment? tuning? remember it takes more than just putting a motor in2 an engine bay to make it work. I think that you would need to spend at least R18k 2 get a decent job done, it all adds up in the end. everybody talks about how easy it is to get the job done & how cheap it is to convert 2 ABF etc., have u done the sums? is it really cheap? or are the costs relative?
@rezarayman People have been fitting ABF's to Golf 1's and 2's for ages mate.
If you bothered toread my reply you'll see I factored in cams and exhaust. Even at 18k, the 16v ABF still makes more power in stock form than your turbo setup for less... see the point I am making?
Engine transplants will always be the most affordable power upgrade for the average man on the street.
@exdohctor My question to YOU is have YOU done one? you seem to have an opinion on everything but nothing concrete to say about anything. ABF engines alone cost around R10k or R12k, management (diktator R2100)? Fitment (labour abt R5k)? Tuning (R850)?modifications? Exhaust (good 1 is about R5k)? do the sums, i understand the point u r TRYING to make, however I think that u'r argument is flawed, do u get my point?
@rezarayman I've been involved with multiple engine transplants over the years. ABF Motors go for around 10K. Fitment, who pays for fitment? That's why you either buy a house with a garage or carport. Do it yourself. 2E's, ADY and ABF's all line up with the OEM engine mounts bar the right hand engine mount which tends to be the problem, again, do it yourself. You can get away with the stock branch initially. You can think what you want, I am not ripping the public off with a low powered turbo :P
@exdohctor How have u been involved? Installing? Tuning? Modifying? how much does a good house cost these days? we are not holding a gun to anyone and insisting that they do what we say, we are catering to the smarter crowd that realise if u need financial advice then consult a financial advisor, do it yourself then accept the consequences, if u want a quality turbo job & u can afford the price of power then consult the people that know how 2, not weekend warriors that take chances.
@rezarayman I've done the whole shabang mate, old engine out, new engine in, I used to drive to and from work with my laptop connected to the PRS making real time adjustments in real time driving situations. For roughly 2 years. All you really need is a decent set of tools and an engine crane, which you can buy at Ardendorrfs for R2000. Heck if you have a carport you can do a motor swap. Weekend warrior taking chances? Pretty much sums up how most people feel about you my friend.
@exdohctor do you know anyone that has a BBM kit installed? the people that I know run their setup at low boost and it makes about the same power as our turbo kit. there are many limitations to the supercharger kit, especially on small 4 cylinder motors. I know that there is 1 specific chap that has scrapped his BBM kit for turbo, he has a white jetta 2.
@rezarayman You're talking about Ryan Demozer form the VW Club. He is not the only person running a BBM Super charger kit in this country though. I know that Jetta very well. That turbo conversion on his Jetta is still coming in cheaper than you're low power setup btw...
@rezarayman the kit comes with everything required to install and maintain it. As Ryan said, he did the supercharger conversion at home in his garage DIY...
@exdohctor my question 2 u is what did it cost? is he still using the charger kit? according to 'his' comments the charger broke & he could'nt find spares anywhere which means that he would need a new charger 2 keep the setup, right? what does a charger cost? Ryan is blessed with skill & aptitude 4 car engines, is everybody in the same position? does his charger setup make more power than the turbo setup? how much did Ryan's turbo conversion cost mate?
@rezarayman Ryan's comments were his mate. I know Ryan personally, and have known him for many years already. He's having trouble registering on Youtube to dispute your claims about his car and asked me to post on his behalf. You don't actually have all the facts about his charger setup. So I am confused about why you are using him as an example, when you've never actually met him or seen the car in the steel...
@exdohctor I have met him and I have seen the setup, I am not disputing anything about his car mate, I am trying to make a point to you about being naive over conversions and if YOU haven't actually done one or bothered pricing the job then please don't make any snyed remarks about how cheap or expensive conversions are. have you researched the price of a BBM charger kit?
@rezarayman funny that Ryan doesn't know you then mate. Any one can verify the information I've put in my replies to you, simply google 2E, ADY and ABF motors, phone Japan Auto and check the prices I've quoted, it's all accurate. If the readers then compare my information to the mistakes I've pointed out in your video... again, my info is accurate. That is not a stock 2E in your car as you claim and have already confirmed.
@exdohctor u r more than welcome 2 take the motor apart & mic the internals 4 YOURS & the readers benefit, the compression ratio is a standard 10,5:1 as with any 2.0l 8v long block VW sub assembly, head is stock as well. Its not on top its inside that matters. I met Ryan @ Golfwagen in Centurion - he used 2 b a DJ @ some point right? How do I know this? Facebook mayb?
@exdohctor How are you able to tell all that from looking briefly at the engine? The motor is a 2E import (bought at Japan Auto). The tappet cover comes from an earlier model 8v (just looks better than the original cover when chromed). The injectors could be from an ADY type motor (same thing really), fuel rail as well. about the injectors, give Chris Dicks a call and he will let you know.
@djfunkyv bru, the man is far from gay, he has been married a few times and has kids the age of most of the okes that commented on the video (or at least the same age of some of the okes brains that commented on the video).
@djfunkyv we are in JHB, but your suggestion is a good one. we are still tweaking a few things on the car before it is ready for the 1/4 mile at Tarlton.
are you for real?? and are u that dumb to post your cell, email and licence plate on youtube?? you do know the pigs trowl sites like this to?? and for performance testing on public roads with kids running around!! do performance testing on a closed track with a vbox then post you real "performance testing" eish you give the SA tuning scene such a bad name.......... doos
@qkruss next time we'll keep the info secret. sought legal advice b4 posting and it is very difficult for anyone 2 convict based on the video. Jurisdiction? How can the speed be judged when looking at the video? anyway there is enough testimony on the comments below that state that there is a definite lack of speed. this is a street car and we have no intention of testing it on a closed track. We have no intention of representing the state of tuners (good ones included) in SA. do u hav a video
What a truly pathetic effort. You want to advertise your company with a hand written, misspelled cardboard placard? Ever heard of vinyls chum? You then proceed to start and rev the motor cold? Do you not know the concepts of internal combustion engines? Things like oil temp and oil pressure are things you might want to look into. You then drive around like a hooligan on busy public roads... Between you and your "camera man" you couldn't invest in a tripod or do some basic video editing?
@exdohctor ta 4 your feedback, the car was idling before the shoot so to start it rev it while filming was cool, we understand the dynamics surrounding oil temp & press & ring gaps & gudjeon pins. video quality is cool @ the moment & we will improve as we move along. we were brought up to 2 b hooligans, this is Africa & it is the only way we survive. our work is done by hand, we write out our signs and build our cars, our turbo work is better than our writing however & thats all that matters!
10 points for trying. -50 points for not holding the camera straight......seriously, kudos to you for trying something like this, but surely you could have displayed everything a little more professionally?
@blitzvw we needed to start somewhere, with all the feedback we will definitely try to improve the quality as we move along. thnaks for your feedback.
Oh, and all the emails you've been getting....they're from people on the forums taking the piss outta you. So don't go putting the deposit down on that Hyundai Getz just yet.
No need Stew, as long as it Getz you going I've done what I set out to do. Its cool about the emails, forums are for wannabes anyway, its like a support group for people that pretend that they know what they are talking about. U think that I haven't checked out the forums, VW, Tincan etc. All talk & no show makes u'll dull boys mate. I'm not out 2 impress u or u'r friends all I want 2 do is promote the work that my mates r capable of & there r more videos on the way.
@BallsZAR If you can get a genuine 100kw for 10k then someone is either lying to you or the dyno that you are using is extremely easy. Spending R22k now gives you a turbo car that you can work with and for small amts of money your power gains will b much better than any NA car, but ignorance is bliss I guess and many people out there throw around power figures that sound impressive but are not real.
@PitziNC 4 that you will need to use a 16v, 20v or VR6 turbo setup, much more costly putting this 2gether, the 16v turbo will be the best bang 4 u'r buck. the setup will cost anywhere between R35k & R40k excluding the motor, u can expect to make over 250fwkw with a fairly std motor, it will incl some work on the head, pocketed 8v pistons and some turbo cams. 20v T makes about the same buts costs, unltd budget then i recommend VR6 T low boost can yield 300fwkw.
You're an Idiot. This is the worst advertisement you could have for your "company". You look like a bunch of amateurs. For the international viewers, please note that this is not how the rest of the SA VW Tuning scene looks. This car made a pitiful 121hp at a local dyno day. Precision tuning 1.6 8V Turbo makes 102KW on the wheels, also a Bolt on turbo.
On Behalf of the VWClub of SA.......Please adjust your cap one more time for us.
I do not belong to the VW club and I have no intention of portraying the VW tuning market in SA as either better than others or worse for that matter, in fact I am trying to make the turbo car more accessible to the man in the street, not everyone can afford the types of fancy cars on show at the VW Club of SA. Sorry for the amateurish behaviour, please give us an indication of how we should do this.
@rezarayman - R22k for that conversion does not make it accessible to the man in the street. R22k is alot of money for that. what comes in the "bolt-on" kit?? i've seen normally aspirated golfs make much more power than that at a far lower cost. i think that somebody is misleading you.
@RocketRacer007 Mate, plse go out and get some quotes for turbo conversions. Highly Moded NA cars make more power yes, but we have the flexibility to make small changes for small money and u will b able to make much more power. Once u build a highly moded NA application u can't make any more changes and u will need 2 start with a new setup to make more power. remember that this is a base to start from and not the end in itself. Good NA work costs just as much if not more. FLEXIBILITY!
@rezarayman - i thought it was about "accessibility"? my point is that your turbo conversion is actually a wasted effort. what power does a standard 2ltr 8v engine make? iirc it makes 85kw. so your R22k turbo conversion adds a whopping 5kw more!! (i take it that fwkw= flywheel kilowatts).
@RocketRacer007 actual power or power as per mnfr spec. std 2.0l 8v will make about 65fwkw (front wheel) or so. the power increase is from 30% upwards. a 90fwkw NA car will cost upwards of R13k and this involves flywheel mods, crank mods, head mods, problem is how much can u get out of a NA application, with Turbo we can install turbo cams, big turbo etc then the power gains become exponential. NA is costly and inflexible. sms me u'r number 4 a chat 079 703 4717
@rezarayman I'm flipping glad you don't belong to the VW Club.
How about having some tech specs, not some gay idiot saying "It's bloody awesome"? How about using a car without a fucked rear bumper? How about not driving like an idiot up and down public streets at illegal speeds?
Whoever takes their car to "Cheap amateurs" instead of expensive professionals for a turbo conversion needs their head read.
I've been in Jerry's 1.6T. It runs strong and hard, unlike this one.
@TractorStu Stew, Stew, Stew, u need 2 go 4 anger management therapy mate. What car do u drive? Would u like to be part of the next video? I'm sensing jealousy in u'r speech, mayb frustration? so u don't like street racing? r u gay? Have u asked Jerry who we are?
@TractorStu Why don't we set it up so that u can get a ride in my car as well, seeing that u have been in Jerry's car already, I can meet u @ Precision.
@TractorStu By the way, is this channel a channel for professionals? if you haven't noticed 90% of the videos on this channel are home amateur videos, this is not DSTv. I would rather save on fancy stuff and pass the saving on to consumers.
your comments are noted and the next time we will try to improve, however we will always be amateurish, we have no intention of being too sophisticated, it is not our target market. I will continue to adjust my cap just for you guys'.
@TractorStu hey don't take this personally, u call yourself 'Tractor', and u say that I'm an idiot? Now that we've been introduced should I refer @ u as Tractor or Stew? What is u'r opinion on the Precision 1.6T? Did u hear that Jose won his class in the ZOC hillclimb event this past weekend in the 1.6T? I heard that he may have even beaten some ST's on the way to the win.
@TenaciousMe09 in your world mayb, in the real world I don't think so. high duration cams work with other work, flowed head, big injectors, branch, free flow pipe etc. and all this costs, obviously u haven't driven a car with high duration cams everyday and in traffic, a hole in the head is easier to deal with. No probs with NA I just think that turbo is the future even BMW has embraced the tech. new M5's are also gonna b turbo.
i HAVE driven a car with high duration cams. running a 1.6 velo with 2.3 caravel pistons in it and 276 cam and im sure would'v made more power than ur 2ltr turbo!! turbo is lazy mans way of modding.."the easy way out" im old school, N/A cars are much more interesting
@TenaciousMe09 Old school is just that bru, its old. I'm sure that u'r car felt fast at some point, HD cams will make it feel fast. Did u have the car dyno'ed? What power was it making? Turbo charging is the thinking mans way of modding bru, its far from easy.
turbo charging is just gaining power too easily, N/A you have to work for ur power..makes it interesting. and im really confused why u only making 90kw with that motor, coz a buddy of mine is making 98kw and 211Nm with the same motor and ONLY with a dicktator mapped by ferolli performance. What management are you running on this car?
@TenaciousMe09 NA or Turbo? we r using a Diktator box. the motor is completely std and boosts about 0.4bar, if we increase boost 2 0.8bar we expect about 115fwkw (KAR standards), then we add a turbo cam and c what happens & keep playing with the setup until it is strong & reliable, then we move 2 16v T etc. Take it in doses not all @ 1 go. work smart not hard, we have built many high powered NA cars and it feels as good but characteristics r different. NA likes revs, turbo is more responsive.
okay then i understand why u went turbo, and understand why u making 90kw's..turn that boost up mannn!lol but source and 9A head, or preferably a ABF coz have the cams, and then u got an ABF turbo! and we all know the potential that motor has...
@TenaciousMe09 stay tuned we gonna keep playing and keep posting. we just finished a 1.8 Mk1 2 day tuned @ Precision it made 98fwkw (low boost), we r trying to keep it as real as we can. Where r u based?
@TenaciousMe09 @ the coast NA is boss, cold air means that power is easier to find, pity u that far away, I would have offered u a ride in the car otherwise. stay safe
which of u okes are in Gauteng, I would like to offer you a ride in the cabbie then you can make your minds up. might not be as fast as some of your rides but i'm sure that it will be worth the effort.
eeeeey Bru! Love yo Jammie bru! Reckon you must be like stacking up the orders for export ekse? That is one time shithot bru. What say you send me one with a Oettinger badge too, goto be original whato?
The M3's must be nipping straws when they sees your GEE TEE ESS in their rear view mirrors?
Hee, swing in that rear bumper for the deal clincher eh?
@6potpig I smaak your tunes bru, xport market is cool so far cuz. No probs with one mk1 for you to, only need some dough b4 it gets to you. we not out to terrorise the M3's connexion (we use 16v turbo's 4 the M3's) we only out to njoy the turbo xperience. You would'nt happen to be my man 'Iron' Mike Naicker would you?
absolute power is not the objective here ekse bru, we want to make this affordable and reliable. In this market mense only have enough money for 1 car and we want to make sure that this 1 car never has to sit at the turbo shop for too long. For an enthusiast this is affordable and reliable for the future street racer it is an affordable base to advance from. Power is not absolute remember it is relative to what you can afford, you want 250kw b prepared to pay much more.
It is what I expected more or less, the KAR dyno is not the most forgiving dyno in the country. I want to take it to another dyno to see what the difference is.
Thanks for the answer Reza. You say your car was built in sunny SA, but the Mk1 Golf only entered local production in 1984. You say the motor was tuned at Autospots. Do you use aftermarket management, or just VR6 injectors?
Son if you have an understanding of turbo setups and where the power band is then it will all make sense. The motor is stock (no turbo cams etc) so with boost it makes most of the power between 1800rpm and 5500rpm, revving it any higher is futile and quite frankly stupid. The car has been tuned at Autospot so I don't think that 'pinking' (should be pinging - caused when an engine runs lean) is a problem (this is a low boost application remember). The turbo is an H TrimT3/4.
I shudder to think of the irresponsiblity it takes to roar up and down a public road with children nearby. Metro police would also take quite an interest in your video I'm sure since you also left your plates on? Its really people like you and vidoes like this that gives motorsport a bad name in KZN. Street racing is illegal if you forgot?
As for your car, why not post some 1/4 mile times or have a dyno power run to show prospecitive clients just how good the car is?
@rezarayman didn't think i would need to point out my sarcasm. The windscreen is but one thing that your money would have been better spent on, rather than that turbo setup. Other things include proper rims, your hideous rear bumper, the gaping hole in your dash, that terrible steering wheel... need i go on?
Did'nt mean to hurt your feelings bru, but you need to take as good as you give, not that you give good anyway. You are obviously an all show no go type of guy right!
All show no go? I also have a 2 liter turbo, but mine makes about double your power with no modifications. What the hell does speed help if the rest of your car looks like shit? It's attention to detail that shows people you really care about your car and that lots of work went into it. With all the ugly details on your car, it comes across as sloppy and even cheaper than it is. You should look professional to your clients
found it, doesn't look exciting, why don't you take the car to KAR and see what power it makes. What work have had you done to your car? What did it cost? How much does your car cost bru?
@rezarayman thats private info... I guess its now your turn to upload some vids of yourself beating those m3's and st's like you claimed? Just please do the next video in a road where there arent little kids runnig around
@s1n1st41 Pvt I understand, but plse remember that not everyone can fly 1st class in a brand new audi, some of us can only afford to fly economy, I would like to make sure that more people can afford to fly for less than you. We never claimed to beat M3's and ST's I just said that it iwill give them a surprise that they will not b xpecting, plse watch the video again and listen carefully. I will worry abt my safety and u worry abt yours. I never once said I could beat anyone.
you thrashed that s3 mate, just wondering how your standard front wheel drive 150kw 2.0l T is that much more powerful than a 220kw audi s3 quatrro or could it be that the driver of the s3 wanted to be beaten?
@rezarayman the 2010 audi s3 is 188kw, not 220... anyway, this has been a marvelous waste of my time, but i can't say i didn't enjoy it :) keep it safe reza
So you have a gret understanding of specs, my question to you is did you hammer the s3 with your standard 2.0T? My point to you is if you have no idea how this game is played then please try not to make the rules. FYI your car does not make nearly as much power as you would like to think and that my scrap makes 90kw at the wheels on one of the toughest dynos in the country, put your car on the KAR dyno and you will be disappointed at the results.
@rezarayman didn't think i would need to point out my sarcasm. The windscreen is but one thing that your money would have been better spent on, rather than that turbo setup. Other things include proper rims, your hideous rear bumper, the gaping hole in your dash, that terrible steering wheel... need i go on?
Turbo is better. There is a dyno video on its way. The car was not built to run a specific quarter mile time, it was built to be affordable and fun to drive. How often do owners of obscenely powerful race cars get to drive their cars (I drive my turbo car everyday), who is having more fun? what is the cost of a MK5 0r 6 GTI? OPC? ST? this car costs a lot less and is much more fun.
Bwaaaa ha ha ha! That is the coolest shit I've ever seen! Spyke's right, I'll never get that time back, but that shot at the end made it all worthwhile for me.
Glad you liked something about the vid. Do you think that there are some fast Golf's in JHB? Who has built some of the fastest? Who's work does this look like?

engine looks great, but it just doesent look as fast as i would have thought it would be. do you have any boost leaks? what kinda boost is it actually runnning? nice golf though, deffinately has potential
erixtar1992 2 months ago
@erixtar1992 It was not built to be fast, if u want fast we can build u a 250kw daily driver. There r no boost leaks, the car is running on about 0.4bar boost. Thank u for the compliment.

@rezarayman ah i see i was under the impression it was running more boost, makes sence now! thanks for the reply. keep up the good work!

Tell me whats the fuel economy like on this conversion. Also is it standard injectors?
jerseyboynaz 3 months ago

Only a fool would conclude that all power means all faster... good luck

Jetta2L8VTurbo 1 year ago
I used to be a part-time DJ, yes, and I never stayed in Centurion. I purely went to GW there as it was the closest one to my place.
And my Jetta's current turbo set-up is all fitted DIY style by me at my house, the only things I did not do was weld the downpipe and the tuning, the rest was all done by my hands.
Jetta2L8VTurbo 1 year ago
@Jetta2L8VTurbo gr8 to see that u'r on, I remember the meeting vividly, @ that stage I was driving a 2.0l 16v turbo jumbo, and u did tell me that the job was done at home. i never once dissed u mate & I think that what u did was awesome. we have put together a solution that is easily accessible, affordable & reliable & it obviously has made people take notice. I find this form of advertising interesting to say the least. Keep boosting
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman ;
6potpig 1 year ago
@6potpig mate, I have no issues with u'r opinion, u r entitled to one. enlighten me on the fundamentals of boosting 8v motors? Have u turbocharged any motors recently?
rezarayman 1 year ago
Ryan, we r trying 2 give enthusiasts the option to upgrade at a 1 stop shop & not everyone has the same knowledge of motors & turbo charging that u have, u obviously have done the research necessary to get u'r setup exactly where u want it. we r trying to save consumers time & effort.
rezarayman 1 year ago
To answer your questions about Supercharger reliability. There is a guy in the VW club who's been running a 2L 8V on a G60 supercharger for the last 6-8 years... Car is still running, with the suprcharger to this day, with out a problem.
He makes loads more power than your 2L 8V Turbo. I bet if he turned his boost level down to 0.4, he'd still out perform your 2L 8V Turbo.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor why don't u ask him to turn the boost down and take the car to KAR, no point in assuming right? G60 is standard VW, reliable, how much does the BBM kit cost? How much does a G60 setup cost? Is it readily available?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman You can walk into Japan Auto Trading and buy a complete G60 motor for R9000 right now, So to answer your question... R9000, and yes, they are readily available.
The BBM supercharger kit, which comes complete with everything you need to install it can be imported for around R18 - R20 000, if I remember correctly.
Again, both options, cheaper and more powerful than yours.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor $3500 equates to more or less R25k @ current $/ZAR xchange rates. JAT has 1 left @ R9500 spoke to Abie, he said it is very rare, so unless you import the motors YOURSELF I think that YOU have made a boo boo again by stating facts that YOU have thumb sucked and YOU are clearly someone that njoys throwing around names, figures & solutions that YOU don't have a complete understanding of. I suggest that YOU stop making claims on behalf of other people & start doing things 4 yourself.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman wahahaha, you're a fine one to talk about throwing names around, especially when those people say that they don't know who you are. I was on the VW Club committee for 4 years chum. Between the two of us, I am the only one stating correct facts. I've been through the whole process, from 1600 carb to 2E on PRS management and then preparing to go 2E on MP9. You on the other hand can't even answer basic technical questions about the "work" you claim to do.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor the $3500 for the BBM kit excludes shipping as well. In my experience the cost of shipping & VAT will take the price of the kit to almost R30k (or more)? Have you shipped and installed one of these yourself? How do you know that it is as easy to fit as everyone says? or do you believe everything you hear? does the kit work on a motor that has been worked on previously? What type of Management System does the BBM kit use? Who tunes it?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman Ryan imported the kit for less than 25k, he ran it on his Jetta's 1800 Motor on Go-Tech, he installed and tuned it himself :P I don't need to listen to "hear say" when I know the people I am talking about on a personal level. What's the matter Reza? I am only pointing out the spurious mistakes I've been able to pick up from your video. There is a reason people are saying you give tuners a bad name, have you worked it out yet?I am not the only one who's noticed these mistakes either
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor in which year did he import the kit? u'r facts are incomplete mate & the fact that u were on the VW Club committee does not make u an expert on anything or does it? People like you hide behind pseudonyms and criticise everything, I am aware of forums that have dissed us, there r just as many smart people out there that bother 2 call 2 find out details. did u know Ryan was a DJ? Frankly we don't take haters seriously, when u find out who we actually r then u might hate us even more.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman I was on the VW Club committee with Ryan bud :P Give it up already, you don't know Ryan or his car.
I think you need to bring this car to a VWClub Dyno day. You'll get an education on how to make power with a turbo car.
Until then, have fun with the "happy" motor, and please, do buy a new cap for the next video and put it on right the first time.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor
will u teach me or u going to get someone else to do it. which car made the most power on the last VW club dyno day at KAR? I asked u if Ryan was a DJ previously? does he or did he live in Centurion? I can tell all of that because I know what I am talking about, especially when it comes to the 2E motor. The fuel rail, inlet manifold and tappet cover were a dead give away.
So now you openly admit that this is not a stock standard 2E... rather a 2E/ADY hybrid. With this in mind... how can we trust the power figures you boast about?
Honestly Reza, the "average man on the street" would be better off spending their 22k elsewhere... you can also get much better bolt on turbo kits for less.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor what is the difference between an ADY and 2E engine? They are both 2.0l long block engines, aren't they? the compression ration on both motors are exactly the same isn't it? the only visible difference is the way they look, correct? The bore & stroke is exactly the same! the ADY motor comes with a knock sensor and in some l8r engines, a 60-2 trigger. Who do you know that can turbo charge a car for you for R22k? Where would I find the kit for LESS?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman 2E's ran on Digifant, ADY on Motronic. 2E's needed a seperate idle stabilization valve while ADY's have built in idle motors. Both use a knock sensor btw. There are lots of differences between the two motors, functionally, not just how they look. If you expect to be taken seriously... there are some things we expect you to know... For 22K one can import a BBM supercharger kit, fit that to a 2E and make more power at the same boost... loads more power.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor we use Diktator on both types of engines and it gives them the exact same characteristics ultimately, the MAP sensor in the Diktator box allows us flexibility and provided that there is no aircon on the setup there is no need to include an idle stabiliser valve. Fortunately we turbo the setup once we have the motor installed & wired up, so the look and spec of the motor isn't important. there are some guys that have used BBM, unreliable? inflexible? this is from the guys that have it.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman It was me who had the BBM supercharger kit. The only reason I changed to turbo was the fact that the Lysholm supercharger decided to have a bearing for lunch and spares for them are next to non-existant to get hold of. At 1Bar boost, the 'charger kit produced 147kW and 260 odd Nm at the wheels in Jhb at KAR. Turbo, same boost level, same motor, 179,3kW and 301Nm
And at around 0,8Bar boost, my current set-up makes 210-215Hp ATW. All DIY'd by me at home - on behalf of Ryan Demozer.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor the turbo conversion can make power as you wish and spares are very readily available. you have to admit that bang for your buck turbo is a better option. what does a new supercharger cost?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman Best bang for buck? You're 2L turbo makes less power than a stock standard 2L 16v ABF... If I had 22K to spend, I'd go for the 16v ABF. I'd still have around 12k to spend on things like cams and exhaust, best of all... I'd still make more power than your Turbo 2L... and still have money left over to spare...
Did you even read Ryan's comments on the charger?
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor so u have done an ABF conversion before? what car did u fit it in2? have u considered management? exhaust branches? Fitment? tuning? remember it takes more than just putting a motor in2 an engine bay to make it work. I think that you would need to spend at least R18k 2 get a decent job done, it all adds up in the end. everybody talks about how easy it is to get the job done & how cheap it is to convert 2 ABF etc., have u done the sums? is it really cheap? or are the costs relative?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman People have been fitting ABF's to Golf 1's and 2's for ages mate.
If you bothered toread my reply you'll see I factored in cams and exhaust. Even at 18k, the 16v ABF still makes more power in stock form than your turbo setup for less... see the point I am making?
Engine transplants will always be the most affordable power upgrade for the average man on the street.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor My question to YOU is have YOU done one? you seem to have an opinion on everything but nothing concrete to say about anything. ABF engines alone cost around R10k or R12k, management (diktator R2100)? Fitment (labour abt R5k)? Tuning (R850)?modifications? Exhaust (good 1 is about R5k)? do the sums, i understand the point u r TRYING to make, however I think that u'r argument is flawed, do u get my point?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman I've been involved with multiple engine transplants over the years. ABF Motors go for around 10K. Fitment, who pays for fitment? That's why you either buy a house with a garage or carport. Do it yourself. 2E's, ADY and ABF's all line up with the OEM engine mounts bar the right hand engine mount which tends to be the problem, again, do it yourself. You can get away with the stock branch initially. You can think what you want, I am not ripping the public off with a low powered turbo :P
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor How have u been involved? Installing? Tuning? Modifying? how much does a good house cost these days? we are not holding a gun to anyone and insisting that they do what we say, we are catering to the smarter crowd that realise if u need financial advice then consult a financial advisor, do it yourself then accept the consequences, if u want a quality turbo job & u can afford the price of power then consult the people that know how 2, not weekend warriors that take chances.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman I've done the whole shabang mate, old engine out, new engine in, I used to drive to and from work with my laptop connected to the PRS making real time adjustments in real time driving situations. For roughly 2 years. All you really need is a decent set of tools and an engine crane, which you can buy at Ardendorrfs for R2000. Heck if you have a carport you can do a motor swap. Weekend warrior taking chances? Pretty much sums up how most people feel about you my friend.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor do you know anyone that has a BBM kit installed? the people that I know run their setup at low boost and it makes about the same power as our turbo kit. there are many limitations to the supercharger kit, especially on small 4 cylinder motors. I know that there is 1 specific chap that has scrapped his BBM kit for turbo, he has a white jetta 2.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman You're talking about Ryan Demozer form the VW Club. He is not the only person running a BBM Super charger kit in this country though. I know that Jetta very well. That turbo conversion on his Jetta is still coming in cheaper than you're low power setup btw...
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor What does the conversion cost? does it include fitment and tuning? does it include after sale backup?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman the kit comes with everything required to install and maintain it. As Ryan said, he did the supercharger conversion at home in his garage DIY...
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor my question 2 u is what did it cost? is he still using the charger kit? according to 'his' comments the charger broke & he could'nt find spares anywhere which means that he would need a new charger 2 keep the setup, right? what does a charger cost? Ryan is blessed with skill & aptitude 4 car engines, is everybody in the same position? does his charger setup make more power than the turbo setup? how much did Ryan's turbo conversion cost mate?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman Ryan's comments were his mate. I know Ryan personally, and have known him for many years already. He's having trouble registering on Youtube to dispute your claims about his car and asked me to post on his behalf. You don't actually have all the facts about his charger setup. So I am confused about why you are using him as an example, when you've never actually met him or seen the car in the steel...
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor I have met him and I have seen the setup, I am not disputing anything about his car mate, I am trying to make a point to you about being naive over conversions and if YOU haven't actually done one or bothered pricing the job then please don't make any snyed remarks about how cheap or expensive conversions are. have you researched the price of a BBM charger kit?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman funny that Ryan doesn't know you then mate. Any one can verify the information I've put in my replies to you, simply google 2E, ADY and ABF motors, phone Japan Auto and check the prices I've quoted, it's all accurate. If the readers then compare my information to the mistakes I've pointed out in your video... again, my info is accurate. That is not a stock 2E in your car as you claim and have already confirmed.
exdohctor 1 year ago
@exdohctor u r more than welcome 2 take the motor apart & mic the internals 4 YOURS & the readers benefit, the compression ratio is a standard 10,5:1 as with any 2.0l 8v long block VW sub assembly, head is stock as well.

Between you and your "camera man" you couldn't invest in a tripod or do some basic video editing?

rezarayman 1 year ago
100+ fwkw 2.0 8V conversion should cost less than 10k for a golf..
How is spending 22k for 90fwkw better?
BallsZAR 1 year ago
@BallsZAR If you can get a genuine 100kw for 10k then someone is either lying to you or the dyno that you are using is extremely easy. Spending R22k now gives you a turbo car that you can work with and for small amts of money your power gains will b much better than any NA car, but ignorance is bliss I guess and many people out there throw around power figures that sound impressive but are not real.

Hey Reza, I wanna kill M5's, C63 anoll those laanie cabs. how much to make a Golfie vy lyk dat anoll?
PitziNC 1 year ago
@PitziNC 4 that you will need to use a 16v, 20v or VR6 turbo setup, much more costly putting this 2gether, the 16v turbo will be the best bang 4 u'r buck. the setup will cost anywhere between R35k & R40k excluding the motor, u can expect to make over 250fwkw with a fairly std motor, it will incl some work on the head, pocketed 8v pistons and some turbo cams. 20v T makes about the same buts costs, unltd budget then i recommend VR6 T low boost can yield 300fwkw.

@rezarayman does that price include the Oettinger badge and performance testing in your street?

You're an Idiot. This is the worst advertisement you could have for your "company". You look like a bunch of amateurs. For the international viewers, please note that this is not how the rest of the SA VW Tuning scene looks. This car made a pitiful 121hp at a local dyno day. Precision tuning 1.6 8V Turbo makes 102KW on the wheels, also a Bolt on turbo.
On Behalf of the VWClub of SA.......Please adjust your cap one more time for us.

@TractorStu Stu, please ask jerry at precision about us. Thank you for your feedback.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@TractorStu
I do not belong to the VW club and I have no intention of portraying the VW tuning market in SA as either better than others or worse for that matter, in fact I am trying to make the turbo car more accessible to the man in the street, not everyone can afford the types of fancy cars on show at the VW Club of SA. Sorry for the amateurish behaviour, please give us an indication of how we should do this.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman - R22k for that conversion does not make it accessible to the man in the street. R22k is alot of money for that. what comes in the "bolt-on" kit?? i've seen normally aspirated golfs make much more power than that at a far lower cost. i think that somebody is misleading you.
RocketRacer007 1 year ago
@RocketRacer007 Mate, plse go out and get some quotes for turbo conversions. Highly Moded NA cars make more power yes, but we have the flexibility to make small changes for small money and u will b able to make much more power. Once u build a highly moded NA application u can't make any more changes and u will need 2 start with a new setup to make more power. remember that this is a base to start from and not the end in itself. Good NA work costs just as much if not more. FLEXIBILITY!
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman - i thought it was about "accessibility"? my point is that your turbo conversion is actually a wasted effort. what power does a standard 2ltr 8v engine make? iirc it makes 85kw. so your R22k turbo conversion adds a whopping 5kw more!! (i take it that fwkw= flywheel kilowatts).
RocketRacer007 1 year ago
@RocketRacer007 actual power or power as per mnfr spec. std 2.0l 8v will make about 65fwkw (front wheel) or so. the power increase is from 30% upwards. a 90fwkw NA car will cost upwards of R13k and this involves flywheel mods, crank mods, head mods, problem is how much can u get out of a NA application, with Turbo we can install turbo cams, big turbo etc then the power gains become exponential. NA is costly and inflexible. sms me u'r number 4 a chat 079 703 4717

I am involved in a company that specialises in these types of modifications.
Is there a specific reason for your question, sir?

@rezarayman - i am just curious. where is your company based? do you only do work on the VW Golf?

Roodepoort, if we areable to turbo your car and agree on a price then we will work on most cars.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman - just curious. what power does this car make? what is the cost of the conversion??
RocketRacer007 1 year ago
@RocketRacer007
This car makes 90fwkw at the KAR dyno. The conversion costs R22k.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman
22k for 5 kw??lmfao! mite aswell just buy a 276 cam for R600 and get 10kw's! what a waste
TenaciousMe09 1 year ago
@TenaciousMe09 in your world mayb, in the real world I don't think so. high duration cams work with other work, flowed head, big injectors, branch, free flow pipe etc. and all this costs, obviously u haven't driven a car with high duration cams everyday and in traffic, a hole in the head is easier to deal with. No probs with NA I just think that turbo is the future even BMW has embraced the tech. new M5's are also gonna b turbo.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman
i HAVE driven a car with high duration cams. running a 1.6 velo with 2.3 caravel pistons in it and 276 cam and im sure would'v made more power than ur 2ltr turbo!! turbo is lazy mans way of modding.."the easy way out" im old school, N/A cars are much more interesting
TenaciousMe09 1 year ago
@TenaciousMe09 Old school is just that bru, its old. I'm sure that u'r car felt fast at some point, HD cams will make it feel fast. Did u have the car dyno'ed? What power was it making? Turbo charging is the thinking mans way of modding bru, its far from easy.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman
turbo charging is just gaining power too easily, N/A you have to work for ur power..makes it interesting. and im really confused why u only making 90kw with that motor, coz a buddy of mine is making 98kw and 211Nm with the same motor and ONLY with a dicktator mapped by ferolli performance. What management are you running on this car?
TenaciousMe09 1 year ago
@TenaciousMe09 NA or Turbo? we r using a Diktator box. the motor is completely std and boosts about 0.4bar, if we increase boost 2 0.8bar we expect about 115fwkw (KAR standards), then we add a turbo cam and c what happens & keep playing with the setup until it is strong & reliable, then we move 2 16v T etc. Take it in doses not all @ 1 go. work smart not hard, we have built many high powered NA cars and it feels as good but characteristics r different. NA likes revs, turbo is more responsive.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman
okay then i understand why u went turbo, and understand why u making 90kw's..turn that boost up mannn!lol but source and 9A head, or preferably a ABF coz have the cams, and then u got an ABF turbo! and we all know the potential that motor has...
TenaciousMe09 1 year ago
@TenaciousMe09 stay tuned we gonna keep playing and keep posting. we just finished a 1.8 Mk1 2 day tuned @ Precision it made 98fwkw (low boost), we r trying to keep it as real as we can. Where r u based?

@6potpig I smaak your tunes bru, xport market is cool so far cuz. No probs with one mk1 for you to, only need some dough b4 it gets to you. we not out to terrorise the M3's connexion (we use 16v turbo's 4 the M3's) we only out to njoy the turbo xperience. You would'nt happen to be my man 'Iron' Mike Naicker would you?
rezarayman 1 year ago
eh man, so much of power ekse.
ApexOversteer 1 year ago
@ApexOversteer
absolute power is not the objective here ekse bru, we want to make this affordable and reliable. In this market mense only have enough money for 1 car and we want to make sure that this 1 car never has to sit at the turbo shop for too long. For an enthusiast this is affordable and reliable for the future street racer it is an affordable base to advance from. Power is not absolute remember it is relative to what you can afford, you want 250kw b prepared to pay much more.

rezarayman 1 year ago
Thanks for the answer Reza. You say your car was built in sunny SA, but the Mk1 Golf only entered local production in 1984. You say the motor was tuned at Autospots. Do you use aftermarket management, or just VR6 injectors?
abhavananda666 1 year ago
@abhavananda666
Maybe the registration docs on my car are wrong mate, you obviously have a better knowledge of the details of manufacture.
rezarayman 1 year ago
Why do you only rev it to 5000? Does it brake if you give it more food? Or start pinking like crazy? Is the turbo from a model airplane?
abhavananda666 1 year ago
@abhavananda666
The turbo is an H TrimT3/4.
rezarayman 1 year ago
Dear Mr Ray Singh
I shudder to think of the irresponsiblity it takes to roar up and down a public road with children nearby. Metro police would also take quite an interest in your video I'm sure since you also left your plates on? Its really people like you and vidoes like this that gives motorsport a bad name in KZN. Street racing is illegal if you forgot?
As for your car, why not post some 1/4 mile times or have a dyno power run to show prospecitive clients just how good the car is?
BallsZAR 1 year ago
@BallsZAR
Your feedback is appreciated. I will take heed to your warning, we are based in Gauteng however. There will be a dyno video posted soon.

If the motor is right the rest don't matter.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman

I never once said I could beat anyone.
rezarayman 1 year ago
@s1n1st41
you thrashed that s3 mate, just wondering how your standard front wheel drive 150kw 2.0l T is that much more powerful than a 220kw audi s3 quatrro or could it be that the driver of the s3 wanted to be beaten?
rezarayman 1 year ago
@rezarayman the 2010 audi s3 is 188kw, not 220... anyway, this has been a marvelous waste of my time, but i can't say i didn't enjoy it :) keep it safe reza
s1n1st41 1 year ago
@s1n1st41
