gouki just means akuma in japanese.

i saw the japanese sfiv version and someone won with akuma and it says, "GOUKI WINS".

so thats that.

goutetsu i believe was gouken's brother or his master on of those im not sure.

my guess is that Gen and Gouken were classmates, and goutetsu was their master.

it may also be possible that akuma is ryu's father.

there's a vid called ryu vs scorpion.

at the end of the 3rd part vid. ryu says he remembers akuma's his father.

@FugeesTheScore actually, Gouki doesnt translate to Akuma in japanese. Akuma is a totally different name the developers gave Akuma when the game was translated to English. Gouki is just his name, but Akuma is derived from Aku which i'm pretty sure means Demon.
