You know what ? This part is verry simple, all the people who learn it put a video tutorial. Why don't you show us how to play the others part of the song ? Or it can be diffcult to you to learn it ?
@weasel4915 I don't like that most people try to play it as fast as they can. And often they get to the triplet section and slow down, which bothers me a lot. Just my thoughts. I like to be expressive even with fast music.
She's a world class guitarist, but she plays it at tempo and cleanly using the technique you don't like (although she uses alternating free stroke when there aren't two notes to play simultaneously in the treble).
I don't think you should necessarily discourage your viewers from playing it fast - once they've spent many years perfecting their right hand technique and playing the song at half tempo to learn the expressions correctly :P
@1loudninja that's a really hard question to answer because "learn" is a very subjective word. I originally memorized the music when I was ~16, but my technique wasn't very good. I revisited it when I was studying guitar performance at university and learned it to a level where it was 99% perfect and I played it at my senior recital. I'd say overall I've probably spent 50 hours of my life practicing and playing this piece.
you are a great teacher, not that kind that talks a lot and teaches nothing, thank you very much, ill be gratefull if you show how to play the second part, but i know it takes time to make this kind of videos though so dont rush...
My mom loves classical guitar and she wants me to play Asturias for her birthday but she wants me to play the whole song not just 1st and 2nd part. but this vid will at least get me started=)
amazing how powerful your videos are ! this piece is very hard, but you learned this little bit to me in like 20 minutes ! the "Here's what you'll be able to play after this video is always good !" maybe a bit more classical feeling in it ? awesome !
