@SwordsmanMercenary well i didnt really research it but i do know that the Sporg are slaves of the Distilled Evil they make the Sinistars, first 12-13 levels are against the Sporg, after that you fight DE until you defeat the Sinistar...leader(?) I guess you could say.

This reminds me of Swarm so much! Any one ever play it? You're a little space ship killing enemies and collecting EZT. You get cool weapons and there is a voice like that girl in it too.

@Chucknorrisaurrus Me? Uh I didn't make this game lol, and there are like 24 levels each has a different boss or sinistar. I have more than 1 video on this game look at those for different ones.

Ah..good times, I never liked the fact that there wasn't a possibility to free roam. Every time you left the zone, some invisible ship destroyed you. I played this game for a few year, and I managed just to kill one of the invisibles. But other than that it's still an awesome game, and gives me a nice nostalgic moment. :p

Yeah the "Unknown Entity" (as they are called in the end mission screen if you kill them...worth a lot of points) very hard to kill and not die without cheats lol.

@BloodFuzi0n Yeah I would always go outside the asteroid field with shields and would attack using Charging photons or concussion weapon and then when I though my shield was about to expire I would simply cloak the ship and escape.

Each of the 24 levels (well except the few bonus ones) has a different one.

Hmm, liked what I saw in the game play. But I didn't care too much for the music. I didn't fit with the space terror feel I myself felt in the original Sinistar.

well you can mod that...all the music is in mp3 format in the game's music folder...simply rename your mp3 to the one you want to replace.

I googled it (you should do that). There are several places you can get it from.

If you are asking for a store you actually go to, I don't know then, since the game is from the year 2000 and thus may no longer be in stores.

Hmmm... I do think the game looks awesome... but.. why'd they turn Sinistar from something that looked like the Death Star with a skull face to a giant... manta crab... thingie...?

They didn't...I have a vid of their recreation of the original sinistar. Which has a similar face.

This game has awesome music. Love the dark techno feel. I have this game myself, got it in 2001 or 2002 and I like it. Amazing visuals. And I love the idea of a partially organic starship.

the game kinda sucked so thats why nobodys really even heard of it lol..

r-type probably took over sinistars role with its general gameplay..just as creppy with the bydo but less annoying

although they really should have kept him the same (including that annoying voice) lol

Blood you know any space game kinda same as freelancer were you like explore the universe or just a large amount of it buy weapons/ships land on planet/get missions and not too arcade like this one :S?

they really dropped the ball with this game. it totally lost all bad-assery. Sinistar should have retained atleast MOST of his original features. as a giant demonic robot face. also needs to be HUGE. a huge problem though is in the original, Sinistar always chased you. with this perspective you lose some of the fright-factor since he's usually behind you.
